魔法电梯

一个乡下家庭去纽约度假。

一天，父亲带着儿子走进一栋大楼。他们被眼前看到的一切惊呆了。尤其是大厅一端的电梯。

男孩问：“爸爸，这是什么？”

父亲回答说：“儿子，我这辈子从来没有见过这样的东西。我不知道这是什么！”

当男孩和他的父亲惊讶地睁大眼睛看着这一切时，一位坐在轮椅上的老太太摇着椅轮来到了那片可以移动的墙壁前。

她按下了一个按钮。墙壁打开了。老太太的轮椅从他俩中间移动进了一个小房间。墙壁又关闭了。

男孩和他的父亲看着墙壁上方的小圆灯亮了起来。

他们继续看着，小圆灯朝相反的方向又亮了起来。墙壁再次打开。一位丰满的24岁女人走了出来。

父亲转过身对儿子说：“快去叫你妈来！”

原文： The Elevator Magic

A hillbilly family took a vacation to New York City。

One day，the father took his son into a large building。They were amazed by everything they saw，especially the elevator at one end of the lobby。

The boy asked：“What's this，Paw？”

The father responded：“Son，I have never seen anything like this in my life。I don't know what it is！”

While the boy and his father were watching in wide-eyed astonishment，an old lady in a wheelchair rolled up to the moving walls and pressed a button。The walls opened and the lady rolled between them into a small room。The walls closed and the boy and his father watched small circles of lights above the walls light up。

They continued to watch the circles light up in the reverse direction。The walls opened again，and a voluptuous twenty-four-year old woman stepped out。

The father turned to his son and said：“Go get your maw！”
