好心的律师

一天下午，一位律师坐在他豪华大礼车的后座上，看到有两个男人在路边吃草。

他命令司机停车，自己下车查看。

“你们为什么吃草？”他问其中的一个男人。

“我们没有钱买食物。”这个可怜的人回答。

“哦。那就跟我来吧。”

“不过，先生。我有一个妻子和两个孩子！”

“把他们也带上！”他又对另一个人说，“你也跟我们走！”

“不过，先生。我有一个妻子和六个孩子！”另一个人回答。

“把他们也带上！”

这两家人都爬进了车里。人太多，把那辆豪华大礼车挤得满满地。

车一开动，其中一个可怜人说：“先生，你太好心了。谢谢你把我们所有人都带上。”

律师回答说：“不。你没搞懂。我家里的草大约有三英尺高！”

One afternoon，a lawyer was riding in the back of his limousine when he saw two men eating grass by the road side。

He ordered his driver to stop and he got out to investigate。

“Why are you eating grass？”he asked one man。

“We don't have any money for food。”The poor man replied。

“Oh，come along with me then。”

“But sir，I have a wife with two children！”

“Bring them along！And you，come with us too！”he said to the other man。

“But sir，I have a wife with six children！”the second man answered。

“Bring them as well！”

They all climbed into the car，which was no easy task，even for a car as large as the limo。

Once underway，one of the poor fellows says：“Sir，you are too kind。Thank you for taking all of us with you。”

The lawyer replied：“No，you don't understand，the grass at my home is about three feet tall！”
