牧师和出租车司机上天堂

一位牧师和一名出租车司机死了。他俩同时上了天堂。

圣·彼得在天堂之门等着他们。

“跟我来。”圣·彼得对出租车司机说。

出租车司机按照吩咐，跟着圣·彼得来到一座豪宅。豪宅里有任何你能想象得到的东西。从一个保龄球馆，到和奥运会同样标准尺寸的游泳池。

“哇。谢谢你。”出租车司机说。

接下来，圣·彼得带着牧师来到一个由乱石堆砌成的简陋破旧窝棚。里面只有一张双层床和一台老式电视机。

“等等。我觉得你有点搞错了。”牧师说，“难道我不是那个应该得到豪宅的人吗？毕竟，我是一名牧师。每天都去教堂，宣讲上帝的话。”

“不错。那是事实。不过，在你布道的时候，人们都睡着了。而当出租车司机开车时，每个人都在祈祷！”

原文： Priest and Taxi Driver Go To Heaven

A priest and a taxi driver both died and went to heaven。St. Peter was at the Pearly gates waiting for them。

“Come with me。”said St. Peter to the taxi driver。

The taxi driver did as he was told and followed St. Peter to a mansion。It had anything you could imagine from a bowling alley to an Olympic size pool。

“Wow，thank you。”said the taxi driver。

Next，St. Peter led the priest to a rugged old shack with a bunk bed and a little old television set。

“Wait，I think you are a little mixed up。”said the priest，“Shouldn't I be the one who gets the mansion？After all I was a priest，went to church every day，and preached God's word。”

“Yes，that's true。But during your sermons people slept。When the taxi driver drove，everyone prayed！”
