钓鱼执照

两个小男孩正在他们最喜欢的池塘钓鱼。突然，狩猎管理员从灌木丛中跳了出来。

与此同时，其中一个男孩扔下鱼竿，跑进树林。狩猎管理员紧随其后。

大约跑了约半英里后，男孩停了下来。他弯下腰，双手撑在大腿上喘着气。狩猎管理员终于追上了他。

“让我看看你的钓鱼执照，孩子。”管理员上气不接下气地说。

他刚说完，男孩就掏出钱包，拿出一张有效的钓鱼许可执照给管理员看。

“好吧，孩子。”管理员说，“你一定是脑子不开窍吧！你既然有执照，干嘛要跑呢？”

“是不该跑的，先生。”年轻人回答，“但是我那边的朋友，唉，他没执照。”

原文： The Fishing License

A couple of young boys were fishing at their favorite pond。All of a sudden，the Game Warden jumped out of the bushes。

Immediately，one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods. The Game Warden was hot on his heels。

After about a half mile，the young man stopped and stooped over with his hands on his thighs to catch his breath，so the Game Warden finally caught up to him。

“Let's see yer fishin' license，Boy！”the Warden gasped。

With that，the boy pulled out his wallet and gave the Game Warden a valid fishing license。

“Well，son。”said the Game Warden，“You must be about as dumb as a box of rocks！You don't have to run from me if you have a valid license！”

“Yes，sir。”replied the young guy，“But my friend back there，well，he don't have one。”
