考试超时

当地一所大学的所有历史系学生都要接受期末的历史考试。被指派监督学生考试的教授有一个严格规定。即，3小时的考试必须在铃响时完成。任何在铃响后没有完成考题的人，考试成绩为0分。

一名学生在考试进行了1小时时来到考场。教授警告他，要在2小时内完成考试。如果到时不交卷，他将得0分。

这名学生立即开始答卷。

铃声一响，其他同学都起身交卷，只有迟到的那位学生继续在写。当他完成考卷时，多用了半个小时。他信心十足地走上前去交卷。

教授看着他，说：“不用费心交卷了……铃响后没做完，你得0分。”

学生看着教授，说：“教授。你知道我是谁吗？”

教授回答说：“不知道。我也不在乎你爸爸是不是美国总统……你这次考试得0分。”

学生一脸愤怒。他大声喝道：“你的意思是，你不知道我是谁？”

教授回答说：“是的。我不知道你是谁。”

听教授这么说，学生说：“很好！”

他迅速把自己的考卷混到其他学生的考卷之中，很快离开了考场。

原文： The Exam

A final examination for a history test was to be given to all the history students at a local college。The professor that was assigned to monitor the students as they took the exam had a strict policy that the 3-hour examination was to be completed at the bell and anyone who kept writing on their exam after the bell would take a zero on the exam。

One student came in an hour into the exam and the professor warned him that he had 2 hours to finish the exam and if he did not hand in his exam by then，he would get a 0。

This student got immediately to work。

When the bell rang，all the other students got up and handed in their exams。However，the tardy student kept writing。When he finished a half hour late，he confidently walked up to turn his exam in。

The professor looked at him and said：“Don't bother to hand that paper in……you get a zero for continuing after the bell。”

The student looked at him and said：“Professor，do you know who I am？”

The professor replied：“No，and I don't care if your dad is president of the United States……you get a zero on this exam。”

The student，with an enraged look on his face，shouted：“You mean you have no idea who I am？”

The professor responded：“No。I've no idea who you are。”

With that，the student said：“Good！”and he plunged his exam into the middle of the stack of other student's exams，and did a hasty retreat from the examination room。
