(Spring Lantern Festival Night)

The Lantern Festival night of last year,

The flowers fair lit as daytime so bright.

Atop the willows the moon tiptoed to sight,

Twas our tryst time at this very dusky night.

The same festival night this year, right here,

The moon and lanterns still glow with their might.

Thou’rt out of sight, yet my mind holds thee tight,

Sad tears soak my spring sleeves from left to right.
