曉風不散愁千點，宿雨還添淚一痕。

Her simple white reflects upon many a door,

The buds on the twigs in the pot like snow galore.

Like Yu-huan - crystal, creamy, rising from her bath,

Like Xi Shi – holding a heart of pure jade, and more,

The dawn breeze cannot dispel her myriads of grief,

The night rain added th’ stains of tears. Though all adore 

Her so much, she leans alone ‘gainst boudoir’s handrails,

A flute mourning a dying day grieves her heart’s core.
