现在的心一,和8年前的心一

我对心一的语文课,很是关注,想自己也补一补,倒溯英国文学的源流。
上周,心一学了伍兹华斯的名诗: I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud。这是英国浪漫派诗人伍兹华斯的代表作,描述田野里的水仙。
我以前教这首诗,缺乏感性认识。到英国后,春天野地里遍地金黄,才算读懂此诗。
下面这段,摘自我8年前的博客。当时我们住在泰晤士河上的金斯顿。那天,和3岁的心一去楼下散步:
“......就像中国的迎春花,野水仙的踪迹,宣告英国漫长的冬季结束。唯有住在英国,才能真正领略英国文学里的意境。莎士比亚有一句,“when the daffodils begin to peer...then comes in the sweet o'the year...”。
我教英国文学,讲到Wordsworth,会给学生放一段短片,湖边金灿灿的野水仙,轻轻摇曳,然后再讲这首代表作,daffodils,《咏水仙》。徐志摩有一首诗开篇道
Wordsworth这首诗的最后一句是:
“And then my
heart with pleasure fills,
And dances
with the daffodils.”
“于是我的心便涨满幸福,
和水仙一同翩翩起舞。”
说的,就是我们的心一么?
一转眼,8年过去,待我们再回到英国,心一已经长成亭亭玉立的大姑娘,能在语文课上读这首诗,还在家门口种下了几个水仙球,期待明年的几簇金黄。
