Genesis 8

1 神记念挪亚和挪亚方舟里的一切走兽牲畜。神叫风吹地，水势渐落。 

2 渊源和天上的窗户都闭塞了，天上的大雨也止住了。

8 But God did not forget about Noah. God remembered him and all the animals that were with him in the boat. God made a wind blow over the earth, and all the water began to disappear.

2 Rain stopped falling from the sky, and water stopped flowing from under the earth. 

NIV:

1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. 

2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. 

点评：

God remembered Noah。这句话里，透着上帝俯视的悲悯目光。“记取”的原意，和合本《圣经》译为“纪念”，不如文理本《圣经》译作“上帝眷念挪亚”。

“神叫风吹地，水势渐落”，这句话，让我想起《圣经》开篇的第二句：渊面黑暗，神的灵运行在水面上（创世纪1：2）。这才《创世纪》第八章，这么快一个轮回，重归洪荒？人类的堕落，其亡也忽焉。

第二句，中文和合本与英文NIV版本，为了忠实原文，读来嫌滞重：“渊源和天上的窗户都闭塞了”；Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed。

这句话，我喜欢文理本《圣经》的文言文，有乐府诗歌的况味：

“渊之泉、天之隙、俱已闭塞。”
