　　2011年3月23日到3月25日（农历二月十九到廿一日），北京龙泉寺将举办观世音菩萨圣诞法会，期间将开设多语种分会场。期间以读诵《法华经》等佛教大乘经典为主，同时举办各种文化体验活动，欢迎各种语言爱好者报名参加！

　　Beijing Longquan Monastery is to hold a Dharma assembly in 

commemoration of the birthday of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Guanyin)

 on March 23-25, 2011 (lunar calendar February 19-21). At the assembly,

 multilingual venues are prepared for activities conducted in different

 languages, including reciting Mahayanist sutras such as the Wonderful 

Dharma Lotus Flower Sutra as well as various culture experiencing 

arrangements. Language lovers are welcome to the assembly! 

 

主题：体验观音文化，祈祷世界和平

Theme: Experience Guanyin Culture and Pray for World Peace

 

　　根据经典所载，凡念观音菩萨者，即得大利益：

　　According to Buddhist scriptures, those who chant the name of

 Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Guanyin) will gain great benefits: 

　　我为汝略说 I shall now tell you in brief, 

　　闻名及见身 That for those who hear his name or see him,

　　心念不空过 And who are mindful of his name unceasingly, 

　　能灭诸有苦 He can extinguish the suffering of all realms of existence.

 

 

　　近期来全球各地灾难、冲突频起，新西兰地震、云南盈江地震、日本大地震、海啸……，人类历史上，还从没有像今天信息时代这样可以即时地深切感受到彼此的苦难。籍此观世音菩萨圣诞法会，以诵经、礼忏、持咒、行善等不可思议力，祈祷观世音菩萨千眼照见、千耳遥闻、千手护持一切众生。

　　Recently, the world has witnessed frequent outbreak of calamities and

 disasters, such as the earthquake in New Zealand, the earthquake in 

Yingjiang of Yunnan Province, the disastrous earthquake and tsunami 

of Japan… Throughout human history, there was never an age when the 

sufferings of human beings can be felt by each other so instantly and deeply as

 in the information era today. Taking advantage of this assembly, we will pray

 Bodhisattva Guanyin to see through her one-thousand eyes, 

hear through her one-thousand ears, and protect all sentient beings through

 her one-thousand hands…

 

 

　　多语种法会期间，每晚将集体共修所集功德，特别回向国泰民安、世界和平！

　　The merits accumulated through the collective Dharma practices during 

the multilingual assembly will be especially dedicated to welfare of the people,

 the well-being of the nation and peace of the world. 

 

 

活动内容包括（现场视具体情况，有所调整）：

The activities include (subject to changes depending on the specific situations):

 

•多语读诵《法华经》等佛教大乘经典，以英语念诵佛教早晚功课，开启智慧；

• To recite Mahayanist sutras such as Lotus Sutra in various languages 

and do morning and evening chanting in English to enlighten the wisdom; 

 

• 随喜佛教礼仪，清净身心；

• To be delighted at Buddhist rituals and purify the body and mind; 

 

• 与法师互动交流，聆听智慧法音；

• To communicate with master monks and listen to the Dharma talk of wisdom; 

 

• 尝试集体翻译赞颂，凝聚欢喜共业；

• To make attempts to translate the hymns together and gather the joint

 karma of happiness; 

 

• 探访有机农场，体验农禅生活；

• To visit the organic farm and experiment the farm-based Zen way of life; 

 

• 共念观音，特别回向世界和平。

• To chant the mantra of Guanyin together and transmit the merits especially

 to the peace of the world.

地点：北京龙泉寺

Time: March 23-25, 2011 (Wednesday—Friday).

This assembly is of pure public welfare nature and charges no expenses of 

any kind. You are welcome to submit applications in advance so that we can 

make a better arrangement of relevant matters.

2、本次法会食宿免费。附近也有农家院等可以自行联系。

3、龙泉寺位于凤凰岭山脉上，气温较低，请携带足够衣物。

4、来寺请遵守寺院相关规约。

Please note that:

1. The monastery provides free vegetarian food. There are farm yards nearby 

for lodging if needed.

2. Please bring with you sufficient clothing as the monastery is situated at the

 Phoenix Range and the temperature there is hence relatively low; 

3. All participants should observe the provisions of Beijing Longquan Monastery.

How to get to Beijing Longquan Monastery

北京龙泉寺位于海淀区西北边，凤凰岭风景区内。至凤凰岭公园大门，往里约三百米，即到龙泉寺。

Beijing Longquan Monastery is situated in the Phoenix Range Scenic Area, 

northwest of the Haidian District of Beijing. It is inside of the Phoenix Range 

Park, an approximately 300-meter walk from the entrance. 

 

乘车路线：

To get to Longquan Temple via public transportation:

 

乘346路公交车至终点凤凰岭站下车即可。

Take Bus 346 and get off at the final stop Phoenix Mountain. 

 

起点站首末车时间: 6:00-23:00; 终点站首末车时间: 5:20-21:30

Bus operating time at the first stop Summer Palace: 6:00-23:00

Bus operating time at the last stop Phoenix Range: 5:20-21:30

 

全程票价(元): 2.50【刷卡: 刷卡封顶成人4角/学生2角】

Bus fare: 2.50RMB (top price is 0.4 yuan for adult/0.2 yuan for students

1、颐阳公路（颐和园沿京密引水渠西岸，经温泉，按路标行驶）。

2、八达岭高速-北安河出口-北清路往西-京密引水渠往北按路标行驶。

3、北五环－肖家河桥－经农大至永丰路—左拐北清路往西-京密引水渠往北按路标行驶 

可登陆“百度地图” http://map.baidu.com/，输入从“XXX”到凤凰岭，搜索查询龙泉寺更为直观的方位及到达方式。

Yiyang Road (drive along the west bank of Jingmi Feeder Canal from summer 

palace, pass through hot spring, and drive following road signs)

Badaling Express Way – Beianhe Exit – westward from Beiqing road – westward from Jingmi Feeder canal following road signs

North Fifth Ring Road – Xiaojiahe Bridge – Yongfeng Road from Agriculture University – Turn Left to Beiqing Road and Drive Westward – Northward along Jingmi Feeder Canal following the road signs.
