Looking back and looking forward
Dear Lawrentians ：
As always I have some good news for you regarding my Lawrence work
in the past year. After the 10 volume set of selected works of
Lawrence and the single volume
Portable D.H.Lawrence, The Rainbow was included
in the Penguin Classics(Chinese edition); and Lady
Chatterley had 3 reprints; and at the end of the year, I have
a new selection of my short essays on Lawrence published(lecture
scripts, media interviews and critical journalistic writings),
together with a volume of Selected Erotic Writings of D.H
Lawrence(tales,essays and excerpts from his
novels), a very fruitful year indeed.
This year, I
have already secured some contracts to
publish two volumes of
Lawrence's non-fictional works; one revised edition of my 1993
pioneering editon of L's essays; the totally revised edition of
Women in Love; a collection of all my translated L's tales
and novelle; a book of essays on my hometown and L's country; or
perhaps more to come;sounds great, another
fruitful Year of Lawrence for
me! God bless me and you all in
the year of the monkey in 2016.
