阿尔基伯克国际热气球节（Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta）将新墨西哥州提升到新的高度。
阿尔伯克基之匣（Albuquerque Box）是一种低风向高风的相反方向移动的天气现象——即不同风向的交汇，有助于热气球驾驶员更好地控制气球。由于存在这种天气现象，新墨西哥州的阿尔伯克基成为放飞热气球的首选地。
过去40年来，数十万人为观看阿尔基伯克国际热气球节（Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta）汇聚新墨西哥州，参加全世界最大规模的热气球节。在10月份的10天时间内，观众们可以大饱眼福，观赏各种表演，包括晚间的发光气球（evening Balloon Glow）和更有创意的奇异牛仔竞技（Special Shape Rodeo）。

New Mexico reaches new heights with the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.
The “Albuquerque Box” is a weather phenomenon where low winds move in the opposite direction of high winds — a confluence of events that enables hot air balloon pilots to better control the balloons. It also establishes Albuquerque, New Mexico, as the premier destination for hot air ballooning.
For the last 40 years, hundreds of thousands of people have gathered in New Mexico for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the largest hot air balloon festival in the world. Over the course of 10 October days, spectators enjoy everything from the evening Balloon Glow to the more creative Special Shape Rodeo.
The festival’s biggest attraction, however, is Mass Ascension, where more than 700 hot air balloons fill the sky simultaneously. The image of these colorful balloons suspended against a crisp blue sky helps make the festival one of the most photographed events in the world.
