海边圣地 seaside place

Ok, right then. The topic on my card is “describe a seaside place you like to visit”.

Well, I’d like to talk about the exotic Maldives, whose islands are like 2 chains of pearls scattered over the Indian Ocean.

The reason for choosing to talk about it lies in that, well somehow it was and remains top on the list of must-visit places for a large proportion of Chinese and I am no exception.

Firstly, with regard to what I do there, the very first thing that pops into my head is just to lie on the beach, soaking up the sun and sipping on cocktail. Really soothing. Life just couldn’t be better. Another thing I can think of is, hmmm, let me see, to cycle along the coast. With gentle breeze kissing my cheek, just pedal for fun instead of for any specific purpose. Totally forget about all your trouble and stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

And moving on to who you go there with, I’d like to say my dream companion would be my future wife. You know, having a great honeymoon there would be something like my dream come true.

Finally, Let me come to talk with you about the last question why I like to visit it. 

Except the above-mentioned, a few more reasons account for my love to it. For starters, the beaches would be the most stunning ones I have ever seen in my life—-clean, clear and pale aqua water with gorgeous fine white sand. Water in the paradise. Another thing is the fascinating activities like diving , snorkeling, whale watching and stuff like that.

All in all, I would say it’s a wonderful holiday destination. Looking forward to paying a visit.
