Ok, right then. The topic on my card is “describe a book I enjoyed reading ”.

Well, I'd like to talk about the kite runner,an international bestseller since 2006, which describes the complex humanity,friendship,loyalty aswell as longing for acceptance.

The reason for choosing to talk about it lies in that, well somehow it combines the exotic culture to our everyday’s life and tells a vivid and engaging story about the struggling to triumph over the force of violence. Anyway, it's so amazing that I could not put the book down since I began reading.

Firstly, with regard to when I read it, the very first thing that pops into my head is last summer holiday, amid the endless and tedious homework, a good friend of mine recommended this book to me.

And moving on to why I read it, I’d like to say the content and the cultural background of this book attracted me greatly. The kite runner follows the story of Amir and Hassan, who are closest childhood friends. However, their social positions differ a lot , as Hassan was the servant of Amir. With time passing by, numerous and unspeakable events had changed the nature of their relationship forever.

Finally, Let me come to talk with you about the last question what I like about the book. Except the abovementioned, a few more reasons account for my love to it. For starters, we can learn the loyalty, friendship and forgiveness through this book. As everyone is the kite runner, we must be brave to shoulder the responsibility and admit the mistakes we made in time.Another thing is the background of story in Afghanistan,we got an opportunity to acquaint with central Asian culture, which is so different with ours.

All in all, I would say it’s a wonderful book. Well Worth reading.
