Front edge pitch （前旗切杆）

So here is a situation we are having a front pin, I try to get really quiet aggressive and challenge that front pin but I’ve come up club short. You know 15-10yards of the front edge of the green. I don’t have lot green to work with, so the shot I always chose here is the 60 degree lob wedge , I like to loft on to the green and just roll couple of feet, that gives me the best opportunity to make the shot. 

前旗，距离旗杆10-15码，球落到果岭后，滚动的距离很有限，这样的切杆很挑战。我选用60度挖起杆，我希望球高高落下，只滚动几英尺，这样，才有可能离洞杯近些。

And the way I do that, is mostly in setup. Most armatures tend to get the ball way too far back into the stance with the club lean forward too much, not expose the front edge. The most important thing about the shot is using the back edge, bounce. And that will help get the ball up nicely, and softly come out just rolling a little bit and give you a good chance of making this.The way you do that is get the ball position lot more forward, almost my front foot.

站位很重要。业余球手会选择把球靠近右脚，杆身想目标方向倾斜，这样杆底的反弹角就没能完全用上。我会把球靠近左脚，充分利用反弹角，这样球能高高地软着陆，落地后滚动很少，这样，我们才有机会抓鸟。

 And I really making sure that take my swing, the club and toe is staying up, just nice open, come in through and staying open as it goes through as well. The left hand should fold nice by my left pocket and the ball should just loft up and finish pretty close the hole. Let’ try to hit one.

杆面打开，杆头趾部朝上，送杆后，杆面依然打开，左手在裤子左侧口袋处轻松屈肘，球高高落下，就在洞口边。

That is little bit hard, a little bit clumsy, hit 4-5feet by, but that was right kind of shot and I had chance to go in. it was not get in the way for me too much, I like to expect to get little bit closer, that was a better effort, try again little bit closer , that is tapping .

有点大了，球过了4-5英尺，应该是右线，我再试试，这次离洞口近了。

That’s the way you can really low your handicap and become one of the best players in the world.

短杆练习是降低杆数的好办法。

 I try to not to hit too many shot in the row. So sometimes use rings 3-feet rings, 6 feet for diameter, 3 for around the hole. Once I got five shot into that ring, I give myself some chance to make some of those, and I move on the next shot.

我一般不会连续击球，我会用一个直径6英尺的圈，放在洞口周围，半径3英尺。如果我连续进了五个，我就会开始另一个距离。

That always the goal to try wholly, if you focus on something a little bit specific, becomes a lot easier. If I could get around the hole to 5-6feet, it’s really not focus in your mind properly.

The more you fix on something a little bit small, even look at Particular part of the hole even more specific, left edge or right edge. The more specific you can be, the more switch on your brain.

 盯住一样特别的地方，甚至是洞杯的一侧，左侧或者右侧，越是集中注意力，就越是容易靠近目标。
