*** The Swing That Won The Slam 精彩挥杆
When I began working with Butch Harmon in 1993, my swing was pretty rough around the edges. At age 17 I had some knowledge of swing mechanics, but certainly not enough to understand fully what I had to improve upon, and how to go about improving it.
The swing you see here, photographed in 2000, result from many years of study, analysis and practice. In some ways, there isn’t much room for improvement, but therein lies the catch: It’s the little modifications you make at the end that are the hardest to incorporate into your game. Sometimes the changes are so subtle they are barely visible to the naked eye and very difficult to implement, feel-wise, into the swing.

But I’m pleased with my progress. Butch and I set out to improve the way my body functioned during the swing, with the intent of making the club perform in the most efficient way possible. Our goal was to design a swing that was powerful, efficient, accurate, repeatable and would work with every club in the bag.
What can you learn from the swing you see here? If I were drawing up a short list of things to copy, it would include:
