一名男子走进一家药店，在货架的过道里走来走去。

女店员注意到了他，问他是否需要帮助。

他回答说，他正在为妻子找一盒卫生棉。

售货员将他带到存放该商品的货架位置。

几分钟后，他把一大袋棉花球和一团线放到柜台上。

女店员困惑地说：“先生，我以为你是在为妻子找卫生棉。”

他回答说：“你看，情况是这样的。昨天，我让妻子去商店给我买一盒香烟。她回来时拿了一罐烟草和一些卷烟纸。因为这样买，价钱便宜得多。所以，我想，如果我必须自己卷烟……那她也得自己卷卫生棉。”

A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up and down the aisles。

The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him。

He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife。

She directs him down the correct aisle。A few minutes later，he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter。

She says，confused：“Sir，I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife？”

He answers：“You see，it's like this，yesterday，I sent my wife to the store to get me a carton of cigarettes，and she came back with a tin of tobacco and some rolling papers，cause it's so much cheaper。So，I figure if I have to roll my own……so does she。”
