一位“气管炎”的男子厌倦了被妻子指使。因此，他去看心理医生。

心理医生说他需要建立自尊。于是，给了他一本关于如何建立自信心的书。

他在回家的路上读了这本书。到家时，他已经将这本书读完了。

这名男子气冲冲地走进屋子，来到妻子面前。

他用手指着她的脸说：“从现在开始，我要你知道，我是这个家的主人。我说的话就是法律！我要你今晚为我准备一顿美餐。正餐后，还要有精美的甜点。还有，晚餐后，你要给我放好洗澡水。这样我就可以享受放松了。当我洗完澡后，你想想还会有谁给我穿衣服，梳头发？”

“殡葬师。”他妻子说。

原文： Male Assertiveness

A mild-mannered man was tired of being bossed around by his wife so he went to a psychiatrist。

The psychiatrist said he needed to build his self-esteem，and so gave him a book on assertiveness, which he read on the way home。

He had finished the book by the time he reached his house。

The man stormed into the house and walked up to his wife。

Pointing a finger in her face，he said：“From now on，I want you to know that I am the man of this house，and my word is law！I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal tonight，and when I'm finished eating my meal，I expect a sumptuous dessert afterward。Then，after dinner，you're going to draw me my bath so I can relax。And when I'm finished with my bath，guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair？”

“The funeral director。”said his wife。
