一位在里维埃拉度假的医生遇到了一位律师老朋友。问他在这里做什么。

律师回答说：“还记得我买的那栋破烂房产吗？它被烧了。所以，我拿着火灾的保险理赔来这里度假。你在这里做什么？”

医生回答说：“还记得我在密西西比州买的那栋破烂房产吗？河水泛滥被水淹了。所以，我拿着水灾的保险理赔来这里度假。”

律师看上去有点疑惑。

“天哪。”他问道，“你是怎么引发洪水的？”

注：“Riviera”为意大利词汇，意为“海岸线”。一般指滨海度假胜地。中文直接音译成“里维埃拉”。世界上有多个地方被成为“里维埃拉”。其中最著名的是意大利的“利古里亚海岸（Riviera Ligure）”，和法国的“蓝色海岸（French Riviera）”。中国的珠海地区也被称作是“中国的里维埃拉（Chinese Riviera）”。

A doctor vacationing on the Riviera met an old lawyer friend and asked him what he was doing there。

The lawyer replied：“Remember that lousy real estate I bought？Well，it caught fire，so here I am with the fire insurance proceeds。What are you doing here？”

The doctor replied：“Remember that lousy real estate I had in Mississippi？Well，the river overflowed，and here I am with the flood insurance proceeds。”

The lawyer looked puzzled。

“Gee。”he asked，“how did you start the flood？”
