飞机上，一位金发女郎发现自己的邻座是一位律师。

律师一直在打扰这位金发女郎。他想跟她玩一场智力游戏。

最后，律师向她提出10比1的赔率。如果金发女郎无法回答他的问题，每次给他5美元。但如果他无法回答她的问题，每次他就会给她50美元。

律师认为他可以稳操胜券。金发女郎则有点勉强地接受了。

律师先问：“地球到最近的那颗恒星的距离是多少？”

金发女郎一言不发，递给他5美元。

然后，金发女郎问：“什么东西用3条腿上山，用4条腿下山？”

嗯？律师看上去很困惑。

他花了几个小时，在他的笔记本电脑上查找所有能找到的资料。甚至，还多次利用飞机上的卫星电话服务寻求地面上朋友的帮助。但，终究一无所获。

他又气又沮丧，只好放弃。他给了金发女郎50美元。

金发女郎依然一言不发，把这50美元放进了她的钱包。

律师坚持问她：“你这个问题的答案是什么？”

还是没有说话，金发女郎又递给了律师5美元。

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane。The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence。

Finally，the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds，and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions，she owed him $5，but every time he could not answer hers，he'd give her $50.00。

The lawyer figured he could not lose，and the blonde reluctantly accepted。

The lawyer first asked：“What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star？”

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5，then the blonde asked：“What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs？”

Well，the lawyer looked puzzled。He took several hours，looking up everything he could on his laptop and even placing numerous air-to-ground phone calls trying to find the answer。Finally，angry and frustrated，he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the $50 into her purse without comment，but the lawyer insisted：“What is the answer to your question？”

Without saying a word，the blonde handed him $5。
