金发女郎油漆工

有位金发女郎，想挣点钱，决定去找些勤杂工类型的活来做。她选了一个富裕的社区开始推销自己。

她走到第一栋房子的门前，问房主是否有工作要她做。

“有啊。你可以把我的门廊油漆一下。你要多少钱？”

金发女郎说：“50美元怎么样？”

屋主同意了。并告诉她，油漆和梯子在车库里。

屋主的妻子在屋里听到了他们的对话。她对丈夫说：“她知道绕着房子一圈的整个门廊都要漆吗？”

屋主回答说：“她应该知道的。她当时就站在门廊上。”

不久之后，金发女郎回到前门来取她的工钱。

“你已经做完了？”他问道。

“是的。”金发女郎回答，“还剩下一些油漆。所以，我给了它漆了两遍。”

屋主很满意。他到口袋里去掏那50美元。

“顺便说一句。”金发女郎补充道，“那辆车不是保时捷，是法拉利。”

注：英语中的门廊（Porch）和保时捷（Porsche）发音相同。金发女郎漆的不是门廊，而是停在车库里的汽车。

原文： Blonde Paint Job

A blonde，wanting to earn some money，decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood。She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do。

“Well，you can paint my porch。How much will you charge？”

The blonde said：“How about 50 dollars？”

The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage。

The man's wife，inside the house，heard the conversation and said to her husband：“Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house？”

The man replied：“She should。She was standing on the porch。”

A short time later，the blonde came to the door to collect her money。

“You're finished already？”He asked。

“Yes。”The blonde answered，“and I had paint left over，so I gave it two coats。”

Impressed，the man reached in his pocket for the $50。

“And by the way，”the blonde added，“that's not a Porch，it's a Ferrari。”
