在一列横贯大陆的火车上，一对互不相识的男女被安排在同一间卧室。

虽然，一开始两人对合住一个房间感到尴尬和不安，不过，由于两人都很疲劳，很快就都睡着了。男的睡上铺，女的睡下铺。

凌晨1点，男人俯下身，轻轻叫醒了下铺的女人：“女士，很抱歉打扰您。您愿意从床铺下的箱柜里帮我再拿一条毯子吗？我冷得要命。”

“我有个更好的主意。”女人回答，“只是今晚，我们就假扮夫妻好了。”

“哇！好主意！！”男人喊道。

“很好。”女人回答，“你就自己去拿那该死的毯子吧！”

沉默了片刻，男人放了一个响屁。

A man and a woman，who have never met before，find themselves assigned to the same sleeping room on a transcontinental train。

Though initially embarrassed and uneasy over sharing a room，the two are tired and fall asleep quickly。He is in the upper bunk and she in the lower。

At 1：00 AM，he leans over and gently wakes the woman saying：“Ma’am，I’m sorry to bother you，but would you be willing to reach into the closet to get me a second blanket？I’m awfully cold。”

“I have a better idea。”She replies，“Just for tonight，let’s pretend that we’re married。”

“Wow！That’s a great idea！！”he exclaims。

“Good。”She replies，“Get your own damn blanket！”

After a moment of silence，he farted。
