本文背景请见“剑桥牛津大学深度体验营之国际学生素描（1）的“注”。本文作者是北外青少英语”学术英语“课程班的学员黄欣悦，她立志当一名外交官，所以这次营地她选择的课程是”国际组织“。她有着极强的学习能力和自我管理能力。营地中有一个活动是剑桥大学模拟面试，她完成面试后把被问到的问题全部都记在了心里，晚上，她把问题和答案都整理成笔记，第二天在出游的车上，她主动到老师那里去请教。一有空闲时间，热衷于去Blackwell看书买书的孩子中肯定有她。每天的日记写得整整齐齐。本来轮到她所在的课程组游玩，但当她听说另外一组的课程讲得很精彩以后，主动放弃游玩的机会，而选择到这一组来听课。这是孩子第一次出国（因父母是军人，出国受限制），按说四处游游逛逛更有吸引力，但是她把主要精力放在了上课、与同学和老师的相互交流和学习以及书店里。我看好她的未来！

     身穿一件蓝色连衣裙，外面披着一件白色的外搭，黝黑的皮肤，长长的头发，浓密的眉毛，明亮的眼睛，这就是我的小伙伴M。M今年16岁，出生在意大利，生长在葡萄牙，同时又在德国的学校中学习，所以，M是一位multi-language speaker（会说很多国语言的女孩，除此之外，她还熟练掌握了英语和法语）。

      虽然没有同行美国学生所展示出的翩翩风度，没有同行波兰女生的运动激情，M仍然有着自己的、独特的特质。下面，就请通过我的介绍了解M这个女孩吧！

     M是一个开朗热情、乐于分享、喜爱旅行的女孩。在“中转”到牛津的过程中，她主动教我葡萄牙语、意大利语和法语的基本问候方式，让我感受到了M的热情。我们在牛津的生活十分丰富，有一个下午进行croquet tournament（槌球锦标赛），因为想玩的同学很多，大家需要排队，她先轮到，所以她主动邀请我和她一队，交替比赛，让我优先地体验了这项运动。我们相处地十分融洽，彼此都感受到了非同寻常的温暖。谈到她旅行的经历，她的脸上又露出了微笑，她去过荷兰、奥地利、英国等许多欧洲国家，土耳其是她唯一去过的亚洲国家。她表示想来到中国旅游。

      在15天的游学过程中，经常能够听到M的笑声，可能很多同行的人认为她相比我们这些规规矩矩的中国学生疯癫，但是，我却不这样认为。因为通过M的自述，我能够亲身地体会到M是一位有能力的领导者。她是11年级的学生，负责组织校内的多项活动，Model United Nation (模拟联合国）是令她最自豪的活动。组织多项活动使她的学习生活格外辛苦，为了这些活动，她每天11、12点才睡觉。但是，乐观的M为自己找到了reduce pressure（减少压力）的好办法     ——隔天下午去打排球（P.S 这是她的选修课，每次为时一小时），定期去健身房锻炼。

      在接下来的聊天中，她又告诉我德国学校、国民的习惯，让我了解了德国与中国的文化差异。德国的学校是从早上8点到下午四点，45分钟一节课，每个班只有20-30个学生。德国学校的考试比较简单，除了个别题目是有固定答案的，其他大多数都是询问学生的观点和看法的（是没有固定的答案的）。众所周知，北京的中学食堂大多都不尽人意，所以怀着一份好奇心，我又询问了M德国学校的午餐情况。她说德国学校大多午餐也不好吃，但他们的privilege（特权）是10岁以上的学生可以经过家长的同意到外面去吃饭。在德国，人们很热爱“休闲”，喧闹的大街上，人们匆忙而有序地骑着自行车；安静的图书馆里，人们如饥似渴地翻动着书页······来到英国，我最大的一点感受就是英国的建筑，英国的房屋明显比中国的矮好多，对德国的建筑风格自然也就产生了浓厚的兴趣。M告诉我，德国的房屋很小，但是每家都住在一个小房子里，是独立的。这让我想到了中国农村那种“原生态”的房屋，每家都在享受不一样的乐趣，却又有彼此的联系，是一种和谐的生活。

      这一次短短的游学活动已经结束，但我相信我们的友情一定会继续下去。今后的我们，会选择走上不同的道路，M想当数学系的教授，而我更偏爱外交官（IR方面的职业），让我们共同期待，美好的未来在向我们招手！也许，在不久的将来，我们还会在相见······

Personal opinions:

2 words to describe: organized, productive.

It is better for students to study foreign languages at an early age.

Cultural differences:

In German schools

1.      The tests are easier, some of the questions have obvious answers, but open questions are also involved.

2.      Activities: surfing(mostly boys), going to the cinema, shopping, taking the walk.

3.      20-30 students per class.

4.      Schools last for 8h, from 8am to 4pm(45min per class).

5.      Students can go out for lunch if they are allowed by their parents. But students under 10 cannot go out for lunch.

6.      After school, she goes to the gym, plays volleyball, teach children( to teach them Bibles, prayers), also a tutor for French

7.      Communication: Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat (only on smartphones), Instagram, Blogs, Email

Portugal--- with a lot of soups, dessert.

Transportation:

In Germany, there are lots of people jogging, riding bikes as well (everyone has a bike). People can also take subways, buses and trains, but these transportations are not as many as those in London.

Leisure:

In Germany, there are lots of parks and trees. Also, people regard library one of the leisure places.
