Max, Cat and Tiger looked across to the island. Ant had been there waving to them. Now he was gone. Just then, a huge fish pocked its head out of the pond. Its beady eye glared at the children. It opened its big mouth. Then it dropped back into the water and was gone. “Oh, no!” cried Cat. “Maybe that horrible fish has caught Ant.”She checked her watch. A tiny green dot moved around. That showed that Ant was OK” for now. “Come on Max,” said Tiger. “We need a boat-and fast!”Max run into the den, he picked up the box and used the copter on the boat and he called Cat and Tiger to help. They use the rope to push the boat in the water. Max said, “Ant, I will help you!". On the island there is no one. “Ant, Ant!” said everyone. "I am here!" said Ant. Where are you said everyone.
They go to the den and have a picnic!

 

Sharon Roamed in Space

On January 9, 2012, Sharon broke a world record! She became the youngest person to roam in space by herself. She was only 17 years old. It took her one month in space. Sharon started learned how to live in space by her father when she was nine years old. She tried in a simulation space. In 2009, a 20-year-old boy went to space all by himself. It was a new world record. Sharon wanted to beat this record.
Sharon was born in 1994, China. When she was a little girl, she had a dream. She wanted to be an excellent astronaut in the future. Now her dream came true. She went to Moon 11 times, went to Mars five times. Also went to all the planet of galaxy more than two times!
Sharon made a list for this long record trip. First, look data on Internet and book to know each planet's characteristic. Second, take some special food and clothes. Third, make a route of this long record trip. After first to step, she thought about what is the route is the fastest and shortest route.  In the end, she decided this route: first went to Neptune and then went to Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus and Mercury. It is hotter and hotter each planet. "Three, two, one, go!" Sharon and her space ship went to space. Sharon's space ship was making by Sharon's father and his company. Sharon's mother drew the draft of the space ship. Inside the space ship there was a comfortable bed, this bed is Sharon's favorites! And, she took her lovely pet rabbit! She loves her very much! Each time she went to space, she also took it.
After Sharon came back to the Earth, she became very famous. Many people came to saw her. She liked to go to space. She wanted to go again!

 

A Wild Ride

The micro-friends went for a wild ride, but the raft was broken. Max, Cat and Tiger had jumped clear, however Ant was too scared to jump, he landed on a small island in the middle of the pond. Just then everybody noticed there was something in the water. A giant shadow was swimming across quietly, wandering from one side to the other side in the pond.
"Look!" said Cat. "There must be something under the water, but what is it?" The micro-friends peered at the shadow hoped to figure out what it was. "I don't know." Tiger murmured nervously. Ant also saw this giant shadow and what even more frightening was the shadow was swimming toward him. He was too nervous to move. "Turn the dials on our watch!" shouted Max. "Then we will be safe!" The micro friends pressed the buttons on their watches as quickly as they could and ...... Although they were bigger again and changed back into normal size, the shadow still seemed so huge to them. While they were thinking a way to rescue Ant, suddenly a strange creature jumped out of water and swam towards at Ant! Now everyone could see it clearly. It was the Hyneria Lindae. It looked very ugly and hungry. Ant dashed into the pond and managed to swim to the direction of the land, he tried to escape from this monster. But the Hyneria Lindae seemed so determined and aggressive to chase Ant. The distance between poor Ant and this creature was closer and closer. The huge fish opened its mouth and nearly bit the feet of Ant. How desperate Ant was as you can imagine and he almost lost hope. Ant turned back and hit the monsters' eye heavily. The five-meter long Hyneria Lindae hit Ant into the air by its' tail and Ant landed on the ground.
Ant quickly stood up. "It's Hyneria Lindae! I thought it was extinct!" yelled Cat. The micro-friends thought they were safe, but no. The giant fish ran aground, but it can even crawl on the land because it has got lungs and strong fins. The Hyneria Lindae continued to crawl to the micro-friends, and then before everybody could react it had pushed Ant into the pond again. The giant fish could easily eat Ant now. "Help!" cried Ant.
Max, Cat and Tiger raced into the pond courageously to rescue Ant. Max hit the eye of the fish and the fish was furious about that. Tiger and Ant tried hard to pull the Hyneria Lindae onto land and they really accomplished. They finally reached land, but it still wanted to eat, the micro-friends lifted the exhausted fish and threw it back into the water. The fish swam away.
"Are you okay? Ant?"
"yeah, thank God!"
Then the micro-friends made a sign with such letters on: Dangerous giant fish here. Be careful!

 

A Record-breaking Trip

On July 1st, 2008, A Guinness World Records official announced that a brave girl made a new world record. The girl who made the record became the youngest person to travel across Amazon rainforest by herself. It took her just one week to travel over thousands miles from north end of the Amazon rainforest to south end of it. She was only twelve-year old and she didn't use any modern means of transportation such as boat, car or airplane. The old record was made by a fifteen years old Brazilian boy, Tom.
The girl's name is Ivy Cain, she is a Chinese girl. She was born on June 2nd, 1996 in Beijing. She had taken special training since she was ten years old. Ivy's parents are explorers and they wanted their daughter to grow up to be a great explorer. They taught Ivy the survival skills in the tropic jungle. Ivy was taught how to swim, how to climb trees.  Also, she learned how to identify plants, make fire, etc. She spent four hours to exercise every day. Although it's very hard for a little girl, Ivy never gave up as she was born with the spirit of adventure, and she wanted to beat the record of Tom. She has made her mind to explore the Amazon rainforest.
She entered Amazon rainforest from the northernmost point of the Amazon rainforest on June 23, 2008. The trip was exhausting and boring. When Ivy arrived in Amazon rainforest, the area was flooding. The water was around eight meters high. Ivy traveled by an old and thin canoe. She hadn't got any idea of the route; it was full of leaves and branches on the water. The only solution was to follow the running water which was rarely found. So most of the time, Ivy was rowing and making sure she could get out of the rainforest in time. Ivy brought tinned food and hardtack. And she also took a compass, Swiss army knife, a hammock, a mosquito-proof and of course, clean and warm clothes. When she was hungry, she can only eat tinned food and sometimes even insects! Ivy slept on a hammock with mosquito-proof on her when it was flooding. When she was on dry lands she slept in a sleeping bag and used fire to warm herself.  
The view of the Amazon rainforest wasn't bad and there are lots to see. The green leaves of the trees and the wild animals. But at most of time the wild animals were dangerous, so Ivy was afraid most of the time. She took telephone but hardly used it, she wanted to do the trip by herself. So sometimes she felt lonely and got homesick. When she made it, she was pride.

 

A Trip to Mariana Trench

Sophia broke a world record!
That's so exciting. Sophia is only 12 years old. She's really a brave girl. Sophia was born on April 3, 2000. She has big eyes, small nose and a big mouth. Sophia has many hobbies. Such as swimming in the sea, play the piano. When Sophia was young, she likes traveling very much. She often traveled with her parents. Sophia knew how to ctrl a submarine when she was only seven!
One day, she saw a piece of news: Mariana Trench is the deepest trench in the world. When Sophia saw it, she has a brave idea. That is get to the deepest part of the world by a submarine! No one did it before and no one could do it and she is too young to do that. But her dream was when she grows up, she want to make a world record. That gave her a chance.
Sophia made her route first. She said she will go down from East China Sea, and then to the Mariana Trench. She will back at the South China Sea.
It's too difficult to do that for every one in the world, and Sophia is only a girl! The Mariana Trench is the deepest part of the world's oceans. It is located in the western Pacific Ocean, to the east of the Mariana Islands. The trench is about 2,550 kilometers long but has a mean width of only 69 kilometers. It reaches a maximum-known depth of about 10.91 kilometers. That's so amazing and afraid for me. Can she do it?
On Monday, Sophia did the last minute check and went to the Mariana Trench. She went there by herself and kept a blog. She will write interesting things on her trip. There was no much stuff in the submarine so she can't bring many things. Sophia only took enough water and food and a satellite phone. She was very busy on the submarine. Sophia needed to keep the submarine clean, so she was a cleaner; she must keep talking with her family, so she was a correspondent.
Sophia said she missed her friends a lot and she really wants to eat her favorite food---Sushi. But Sophia saw many animals that she has never seen before and they're really strange! She said they are really interesting. Sophia took some pictures for them.
After a week, she got to the deepest part of the world! Sophia was exciting, everyone was exciting, too. At the week after that week, Sophia got out of the sea. Her parents and her friends were very proud at her. She made her dream come true! She was the youngest people who get to the deepest part of the world!

A Wild Ride

Cat, Tiger, Max and Ant had an awesome Wild Ride. They found it exciting, but now they had a very important and difficult thing to solve that was helping Ant across the pond from the fence safety. It was a really hard work for three children as their age and size, because there is a dark shadow of a thing that seemed scary and no one knows what it is. Those three micro-friends started discussing how to help Ant go across the pond as fast as they could.
"Perhaps we can make a raft to get Ant back," Cat suggested slowly. "Ah, if only you can sail the raft across the pond and fight that strange shadow in the middle of the lake. Such a brave girl!" Tiger commented on Cat's stupid idea sarcastically. "So," Cat was a bit of cross. "What's your way of rescue Ant?" "Alright, alright, stop. You two have time to argue, so why don't you use that time to think about how to help Ant?" Max's voice stopped them from wasting time like that. A moment after Max's sentences, a strange shape appeared quietly in front of them. It looked like a person, because it was stood on the ground; but it also looked like a fish, because this monster had a tail of fish. "But I'm afraid you don't have a moment more to think about that." his voice was very cold. Tiger and Cat suddenly felt as if someone put them in the icy water, next second, they knew nothing about what's going on, there was only white in their mind, they fall down.
The only person that still stood in front of the monster was Max. Of course, he was worried about his friends, but he forced himself faced the monster. "What do you want from me and my friends?" Max tried his best to made the voice as calm as he could. But that monster didn't even answered his question, the monster asked Max, "Don't you know who I am?" "No, and I don't want to know either." Max answered. "Don't you afraid of me?" that monster wondered. His voice became warmer. "No, must I afraid of you?" Max replied the monster's question bravely. "You are the first person I've met that is not afraid of me," his sound became lower and lower, "I'm the king of fish. You know, it's very lonely as being a king. I just want some friends to play with me, the fish are afraid of me; they think they shouldn't play with their king. I have nothing to do. The only thing I think is funny is to frighten people and see the fear showing on their pale face." Max could see the sadness under his beady eyes. "My friends and I are your friends now," Max comforted the king fish, "You won't be alone anymore." The king fish almost wanted to share tears of happiness. He woke up Tiger and Cat, then took them on his back and swam to Ant. That poor little boy felt as if the death was coming ahead and his friends became the prisoners of the monster. But soon, he realized that thing were such different from his thoughts. Death was not waited for him. His friends are not the prisoners. In fact, he had got a new friend! That impressed Ant a lot, he was very pleased. All the four of them already forgot they were all wet and dirty, they hugged and sang.
Finally, the four micro-friends turned the dial on the watch and soon they became normal sized friends. The king fish stared at his new friends became bigger and bigger. The king fish was worried about they became much bigger than him, were they still friends? He was anxious, so he asked his question as quickly as possible after the four friends changed. "We are still friends, aren't we?" The king fish waited for the answer. "CERTAINLY." The friends smiled together at once.

Atlantic Adventure

My friend Rachel broke a record. She was only 12 years old. Rachel became the youngest person to sail across the Atlantic Ocean by herself. She spent seven weeks in the sea, and her journey was more than 4600 nautical miles.  
When Rachel was a little girl, she wanted to go to the Atlantic Ocean, now her dream came true. She likes sea very much. She is good at swimming, and she also likes water very much. Her mum taught Rachel to learn how to drive boat. On 3rd January 2007, a 14 years old boy went to Atlantic Ocean by himself, Rachel made up to beat that record.
Rachel's trip was not easy. She started her trip from Beijing on 11 January. She took a small boat called Candy Cat. Her mum would take another boat with her. Candy Cat was a fast, smart boat. It was made of light, strong materials, so that it could float easily on the top of waves. Rachel took enough noodle, tinned food and cookie, and she also took water and orange juice so during the trip she would drink her favorite juice. She wore warm clothes, because it was bitterly cold at night. During her trip she would clean the boat, cook food, sail the boat..... She usually slept eight hours a day. Sometimes she only slept six hours. She always listened to the radio. Rachel likes computer games, but she could not play them. During the trip she kept a blog. The people in whole world knew about this trip through the Internet. All the people in world were excited. Rachel's parents were proud of her. She got back to Beijing on 10 March 2012.
Rachel saw lots of amazing things. On 13 January, she saw some fly fish and dolphin. They were beautiful and amazing. The dolphin jumped higher than the boat. And she saw some sharks. She was glad that they didn't jump into her cockpit.
Now Rachel is famous. She is packing up her next trip. She will go to the English Channel.
