During circle time, after reading an English book, we are ready to sing songs. At this time, Amelia will say,”Two little bla bir”. Actually, she means the poem Two Little Black Birds. At least one student will request this poem every day, even after repeating it too many times to count.  The children love to hear their names put into the poem.  They also love to get a chance to ‘fly away’ like little birds into the class.  They concentrate very well and jump up right away when it’s their turn.
