第一部分：由黄老师主持开场

第二部分：由刘老师展示上课过程

Step 1 Warming up

1. Greetings

2. Review “Good morning”

Show Miss White’s and Mr Jones’ picture, ask Ss say “Good morning” to them.

Step 2 Lead in

Play the song “Good morning” which is in the tune of Happy Birthday. Then T and Ss can sing the song together.

Step 3 Presentation

1. Let’s talk

(1) Show the picture in the textbook and ask Ss answer the following questions:

 Who are they?

 What are they talking about?

Then play the tape for the first time so Ss can answer the second question.

(2) Play the tape again and ask Ss answer the following questions:

 How is Chen Jie?

 Where do they go?

(3) Play the video, ask Ss watch and read after the video.

(4)  Explain the meaning and usage of the sentence patterns “How are you? I’m fine, thank you.” and “Let’s go to school.”

Step 4 Practice

1. Greet others one by one.

The Ss in each column will be divided into groups, T ask Ss turn around and say “How are you?” to next S, the Next S answers “I’m fine, thank you.” and then turn around to say “How are you?” to next S.

2. Ask each two deskmates make a dialogue according to the textbook.

3. Let’s play

Play the video of Let’s play part, then ask Ss sing the song together.

4. Do some class exercises

5. Add some additional knowledge about foreigners’ greeting manners.

Step 5 Summary
