在青城山有这样，一副对联高挂起：

事在人为皆可行，休言万般皆是命。

In Qingcheng Mountain, a couplet is hung high:

 

Everything is feasible for human beings, and all things are destiny.

境由心造自然成，退后一步天地宽。

大千世界无穷玄，芸芸众生在人间。

悲欢离合寻常事，酸甜苦辣万万千。

都是人生的常态，不日不时常常现。

The state is created naturally by the heart, and one step back is wide.

The vast world is infinitely mysterious, and all living beings are on earth.

Sadness, joy, and separation are common things, and there are thousands of joys and sorrows.

 

They are all the normal states of life, often appearing from time to time.

但是很多的事情，换种心态去看待。

它便会有不一样，光景机遇随之来。

很多烦恼和痛苦，不是事情本身坏。

而是我们给事情，所增加的那观念。

But many things need to be viewed with a different mindset.

It will make a difference, and opportunities will follow.

Many troubles and pains are not bad things themselves.

It's the idea that we add to things.

所谓万物随心转，境由心造生尘环。

心态决定着一切，命好运好皆一律。

不如自己心态好，常常怀有好心情。

天宽地宽都不如，自己心宽宽无际。

很久之前有个人，意外收获一珍珠。

珍珠又大又美丽，羡慕不已人无数。

但他却对珍珠上，一小斑点不满足。

耿耿于怀狠下心，削去珍珠的表皮。

Long ago, there was a person who accidentally harvested a pearl.

The pearls are large and beautiful, and countless people envy them.

But he was not satisfied with a small spot on the pearl.

With a ruthless heart, he peeled off the skin of the pearl.

但是斑点依旧在，他便一直削不止。

最后斑点消除了，美丽珍珠已无矣。

生活之中很多人，遇事也皆是如此。

原本鸡毛蒜皮事，偏偏去争费心力。

But the spots remained, and he continued to peel away.

Finally, the spots were gone, and the beautiful pearls were gone.

Many people in life, everything is the same.

It was originally a trivial matter, but it took a lot of effort to argue.

 

一些本不重要事，是不需要在意的。

变得重要无伦比，非要计较争高低。

难为别人的同时，更是难为他自己。

那位太太太邋遢，不爱干净使人厌。

穿的衣服是脏的，洗完衣服尽霉点。

其实她并不知道，问题出在哪一边。

That lady is too untidy, and her lack of cleanliness is annoying.

The clothes you wear are dirty, and after washing, they will be as moldy as possible.

 

Actually, she doesn't know which side of the problem lies.

直到有位朋友来，擦净窗户放眼望。

她才发现了问题，出在自己玻璃上。

抱怨它就如同相，带有污垢的窗户。

永永远远看不到，眼前美好的真相。

Until a friend came and cleaned the window and looked around.

She only discovered the problem, which was on her own glass.

Complaining about it is like a window with dirt.

Never see the beautiful truth in front of you.

感受不到生活中，幸福瞬间好时光。

故在抱怨时之前，自家窗户先擦亮。

掸掉心灵上灰尘，你会发现不一样。

多少美好的景致，都被无端抱怨挡。

Can't feel the happy moments in life.

So before complaining, polish your own windows first.

Dust off your heart and you will find something different.

 

Many beautiful landscapes are blocked by unprovoked complaints.

之前有位出租车，司机唠叨抱怨多。

常说天气不美好，常说路况太糟糕。

常绷着脸无笑容，心情不好生意差。

直到后来有一天，他听见了一句话：

停止生活的抱怨，走向成功的起点。

你有浓烈的香为，我有清淡的秀色。

Comparisons lack happiness, making you always happy.

Little grass grows everywhere, not compared to big trees.

You have the vastness of the sky, and I have the vastness of the earth.

Green tea doesn't have to be compared to coffee to taste who is unique.

 

You have a strong fragrance, I have a light beauty.

做人处世亦如此，首先作好你自己。

若是处处与他人，去作比较了无期。

不仅感觉会很累，生活乐趣尽毁去。

攀比让人失快乐，嫉妒让人忧心际。

The same is true in life, first of all, be yourself.

If you are everywhere with others, go and compare Wuqi.

Not only does it feel tired, but the joy of life is destroyed.

Comparisons make people unhappy, jealousy makes people sad.

 

该是我的终归是，兜兜转转回手里。
