穿上牛仔靴，漫步在圣安东尼奥河畔步行街 – 离阿拉莫教堂只有数步之遥。
从市中心开始，圣安东尼奥河 (San Antonio River) 蜿蜒386公里，流入墨西哥湾 (Gulf of Mexico)。1921年，圣安东尼奥河的河水泛滥给这座城市带来了灾难。今天，它通过圣安东尼奥河畔步行街 (The San Antonio River Walk) 焕发生机。

Put on your cowboy boots for a stroll along the San Antonio River Walk — just steps away from the Alamo.
Beginning at the city’s center, the San Antonio River runs for 386 kilometers before emptying into the Gulf of Mexico. While in 1921 this river brought disaster to the city in the form of a flood, today it brings liveliness through the San Antonio River Walk.
Nestled one story beneath downtown, the San Antonio River Walk is a system of walkways along the banks of the San Antonio River. Stretching across eight kilometers of downtown, the River Walk combines the tranquility of water with the bustle of urban life.
Lined with shops, restaurants and bars, the River Walk provides access to daily amenities as well as tourist attractions like the Alamo, the San Antonio Museum of Art and the Arneson River Theater.
The River Walk also hosts more than 20 events annually. These festivities range from the Ford Canoe Challenge and the River Walk Lucky Duck Race to Futbol & Fireworks and the Fiesta de las Luminarias.
