Now let’s review the vocabulary
Let’s plus a verb is a way of
suggesting doing something with one or more people. “Let’s” is the
contracted form of “let us.”
That sounds … good, great, bad,
etc. is a way to reply to an idea or
suggestion.
A beach
umbrella is a large umbrella used on the
beach to shade people from the sun.
A beach chair is
a folding chair used outdoors, especially at the beach.
A surfboard is a
long, narrow board used to ride ocean waves.
Sunscreen is a special lotion
that protects your skin from the sun by blocking some of the sun’s
rays.
Sunglasses are glasses with dark
lenses to protect your eyes from the sun.
To get
a sunburn means
that your skin becomes pink or red from being in the sun too long.
It can be very painful.
