Creative Contemporary Chinese Ink / 海底斑斓当代彩墨

The Beijing American Center cordially invites you to attend an exhibition opening and artist lecture featuring the work of Chinese-American artist, YU Lanying.

The Beijing American Center exhibition will be on display November 5 – 27, 2012.

YU Lanying is a Chinese-American painter whose unique blend of traditional Chinese ink painting and Western abstract expressionism gives testament to her rich bi-cultural heritage. As a diver with great passion for the underwater world, Ms. YU has produced a body of work that embraces the beauty and calm of the world’s oceans and reminds the viewer that this natural resource is worthy of preservation.

An exhibition of Ms. Yu’s works are also featured at the EMG gallery through November 27, 2012, www.emgdotart.net.

虞兰因是一位华裔美国画家，其融合了中国传统水墨画和西方抽象表现主义的独特风格证明了她对于美中双文化的丰富传承。作为一个对水下世界有极大热情的潜水爱好者，虞女士创造了大量的作品，展现世界海洋的美丽和平静，并提醒观众这种天然资源是值得保护的。
