The sunset leans o'er many a fall-vine-writhed door,

Near-by, on the rain-washed flowerpot, moss galore.

The blossom, in character, outdoes the pure jade,

In appearance, outshines the snow, glamour it’s more.

Her fragrant figure seems too frail to face the wind,

Her fairest feature, in full moonlight, all adore.

Don’t say she'd turn into a fay flying away,

To twilight her hymn and mine choir from our hearts’ core.
