本周一我们举行了温馨的重阳节庆祝活动。很多祖父母（外祖父母）们前来参加，其中一些是特意从国外赶来的！孩子们带着长辈们参观了学校，一些祖父母（外祖父母）还志愿为我们组织了活动，例如太极拳，折纸，乒乓球，中国书法等。在全校集会上，孩子们为长辈们唱歌并表演节目。我们发现我们的祖父母（外祖父母）们舞跳的很棒，歌也很美，他们在集会上大展才艺。现在我们正在制作活动的CD，下周将会把它上传到学校网站上与大家分享。

    我们希望充分通过中国传统节日的庆祝来宣扬中华文化，鼓励孩子尊敬一直为家庭和社会默默做贡献的长辈们。我们衷心感谢所有来参加的家长。

    We had a lovely Grandparents Day celebration this Monday. Lots of grandparents came to School to join us - some of them from overseas especially for this event. Children brought their grandparents to visit school, some grandparents volunteered to organise workshops and activities for us such as Tai Ji, paper folding, ping pong, Chinese calligraphy, etc. During the whole school assembly, students sang and performed for their grandparents; we discovered that our grandparents are very good dancers and singers as well, they really showed off at the assembly. We are editing the video tape and it will be uploaded onto the School website for everyone to share next week.

    We want to make full use of these traditional festival celebrations in order to promote our Chinese culture and to encourage our children to respect their elders who contribute so much to their families and our society. Thank to everyone for coming along and getting involved.
