本周，中国诗歌节进展顺利。诗歌节是全校性的语言艺术学科学习、展示交流的活动。主要旨在在语言课程中增加“诗歌“这一孩子喜闻乐见的文体的教学。促进语言课程和艺术课程之间的相互联系和合作。让孩子们体会学科间能合作沟通，学习不分学科界线。利用各界社会资源，“请进来，走出去”拓展学习空间进行“活学”。增进一至四年级在诗歌阅读、吟诵各方面的分享、合作和展示。培养学生的想象、创造和交流沟通的技能力和学生的公众展示、公众讲演的能力（如表情、音调、姿态等）。

    老师们向孩子介绍了许多不同种类的中国诗歌。由陆云华老师主讲的俳句诗歌讲座也非常成功。一年级的孩子们都对诗歌产生了浓厚的兴趣，课堂之外也乐于跟同学聊关于诗歌的话题。学校营造了浓厚的诗歌氛围，孩子们在课堂上能欣赏、吟诵诗歌，课堂之外走廊里可以看到以诗歌为主题的海报，连圣诞树上也挂满了写有诗歌的小卡片，徜徉于诗歌的海洋，孩子们的诗歌创作激情得到了激发。他们热爱上了诗歌，热爱上了创作诗歌。

    作为 “诗歌节”活动的一部分，我们将所有学生的俳句作品汇集成册，家长可选择购买，所得款项将用于四川磁峰小学项目筹款。

    Our Chinese Poem Week is going very well. The poetry festival will involve the whole school and aims to promote communication as well as teach students about using language artistically.  This, our first poetry festival, will take place on 3rd and 4th of December. We hope that this event will not disturb the normal running of classes to too great a degree.

Through this event, we aim to strengthen communication and collaboration between language learning and artistic aspects of the curriculum.  we hope that children will have the chance to experience the idea that there is a crossover between different subject areas and that learning [need not] be split by subject divisions.use poetry as the platform for learning, nurture skills in our students of expressing themselves in front of an audience and performing in front of an audience (for example in terms of expression_r_r_r_r_r_r, diction, vocal expressiveness, posture)develop children’s imaginations, creativity and skills of communication. 

    Students listened to different teachers and staff introducing to them different types of Chinese poems. The Haiku workshop went successfully; even our youngest P1 students have become interested in writing poems in their spare time! Students could read poems around them, from the Christmas tree, the posters in the building, in the library … Their poem writing passion has been inspired this week, but the poetry does not stop there!

    As part of the Poem Poem Festival of last semester, we compiled the works of every student into a book for parents to have the option of purchasing at RMB60 per booklet. All proceeds will be donated to charity, namely the ‘Cifeng Project’.
