I made today's appointment with Shanghai Disney Resort last week. I left for Shanghai from Suzhou at 6:00AM this morning and arrived there almost three hours later. We even couldn't search it from Baidu map on internet. In fact, it is a little difficult to find the office because all areas are being constructed. At last, we found it after we asked security guards from time to time.

Shanghai International Resort covers totally 25 square kilometers which is co-invested by Shen Di(申迪)  company of Shanghai, China and Disneyland company, America. Shen Di company accounts for 57 percent of all inventment fund, 35 billion RMB, on the contrary, Disneyland company takes 43% of shareholding.

 Shanghai Disney Resort is the first core project of Shanghai International Resort. It actually covers 3.9 square kilometers, but Disneyland company accounts for 70% its shareholding, including one amusement land, two themed hotels and one disney town.

There are already 1000 employee working in this building at the beginning and will grow to over 10 thousand employee at last.  

All the projects have been busy being constructed since 2012. It is reported it will be open in the early spring of 2016.

All sale strategy has not been clear so far, but it is impossible for neighbor governments to try to make good use of Shanghai Disney Resort to promote their tourism industries inside the resort. However, Disney Resort would like to promote its products all around China and they hope they can get a lot help from neighbor governmets.
