We invited twelve local typical hotels to discuss how we could
promote together well this afternoon. Each participant gives his
own opinion based on their rich work experience in the hotels.
There are big challenge and huge chance at the same time. Pay many

Here is my some advice for hotels themselves
from maketing point. Firstly, each hotel should find its own
unqiueness if we really want to promote its well-known brand in
long run. We should always make clear what kind of
market we focus? Family, leisure,
bussiness or MICE marketing? We have
to give focus market more
convincing excuses why they must choose your
hotles except its
common function of accommodation,
while the competition is very
fierce. Secondly, try to
enhance incredible
experience for tourists to
improve hotels' comments on OTA
which can attract more patient tourists.
Thirdly, build up strong self-promotion medias
such as Wechat, website and connect them to other business
promotion platform with huge fans including all
platforms of Suzhou Tourism Bureau.

We are responsible for promotig Suzhou into
popular international tourist destination only if
we work in the department of tourism maketing. We
also need more hotels support our promotion strategy. We have
already built up some international promotion platforms such as
Visit Suzhou page of Facebook and Twitter, North American website
of Suzhou, landing page of TripAdvisor and so on. We welcome
any hotel to make good and full use of them any
time. Please let us know if you want to know details of these
platforms. We must realize
win-win goal if we co-promote
tightly. Suzhou as a popular international tourist destination will
be well-known step by step, of course, the hotels will receive more
and more tourists from all over the world.
