I am invited to attend a tourism fair in Rongcheng, Weihai city and met a friendly foreign tourist from Switzerland on the high-speed train. He happened to seat next to me, so we talked a lot very happily. He told me it was his third to visit China this time. He just finished one day tour of Suzhou and came back to Shanghai. He will visit Beijing and Xi'an next week.

He was very excited when he talked about his experiences in Suzhou and showed me a lot of photos he took. Even though he visited some gardens, Pingjiang road, Double Tower, he felt very sorry that he hadn't arranged much more time for Suzhou. When I asked him how he knew Suzhou, he told me he just happened to know Suhzou from one of his friends, but his friend only told him Suzhou was much older than Shanghai, which is worth visiting, and one day trip was enough. Unfortunately, he liked Suzhou very much as soon as he arrived at Suzhou and found one day was not enough. He thought he should stay at Suzhou for at least five days if he came to Suzhou again.

I am very glad to meet him because I like traveling very much just like him, so we shared a lot of tour experiences. I think he is a good tour planner. He arranged his Suzhou tour very well. He booked a small local hotel, which has a good location. There are many Chinese traditional attractions around it. What's more, he got very helpful and right tourism information in the hotel. What surprised me is that his favorite senic spot in Suzhou is Double Towers, which many people don't know at all. Even though he also liked gardens, they were very crowded. He couldn't enjoy himself in such noisy environment. When he walked into Double Towers, he was very excited that there were no other visitors. He had a wonderful experience in Double Towers.

We exchanged name cards when we reached Hongqian international airport. I promised him I would give much more advice if he came to Suzhou next time. He would also be glad to send me some useful information if I have chance to visit his country in the future.

More and more tourists with high-quility demand would like to travel freely by individuals. How can we help them arrange their unique tour lines in Suzhou? In my opinion, overall, timely, helpful tourism information is the most important when we decided to develope FIT industry. In addition, we should sent these tourism information to the hotels which scattered everywhere around Suzhou, especially for the hotels which FIT tourists prefer to stay in Suzhou.
