Happy Guru Purnima 2010(Guru's day)

We attach paramount importance to spiritual gurus. Gurus are often equated with God and always regarded as a link between the individual and the Immortal. Just as the moon shines by reflecting the light of the sun, and glorifies it, all disciples can dazzle like the moon by gaining from their Gurus.

       我们给予Gurus(精神导师)最高的敬意.

The full moon day in the Hindu month of Ashad (July-August) is observed as the auspicious day of Guru Purnima, a day sacred to the memory of the great sage Vyasa. All Hindus are indebted to this ancient saint who edited the four Vedas, wrote the 18 Puranas, the Mahabharata and the Srimad Bhagavata. Vyasa even taught Dattatreya, who is regarded as the Guru of Gurus.
Guru.

Namste Everyone!!

I congratulate you in the festival of self-surrender,

May Guru make your heart as His meditation seat.

May God descend in you to make you loving and egoless

May the rishis of the Himalayas shower you with knowledge

May all the deities give you their power to serve humanity

Happy Guru Purnima 2010 !!

We are blind having these eyes. These eyes are totally dependent on light. The dependent things cannot give independence. If you are walking in the street at night and if you lose your precious ring and unfortunately the electricity goes out and you have no light, what will you do? You are stuck. How can you search? At that time, you feel yourself physically blind. All your actions would be like a blind man’s. All people are searching for things in the same way. Also people do not know what they are searching for. If someone is searching for a car, after getting it he will not be satisfied, his desire will be bigger. We need a person who can guide us on how to search and what to search for. If we personally search our whole life without the light of knowledge, then we will misuse it. We just need light. Guru gives light and nothing else.

Hope everyone can find a Guru who can lead towards the right path...

Namaste Ji,

Yogi Manu
