Ai Sha（Aug. 1923— ）, originally named Liu Sha, also Liu Xiaocheng, Liu Shuchun, Xiang Shu, pennamed Li Chun, Sikong Lu, Xiao Cheng, Liu Sha, etc., is from Haidian District of Beijing City. He started his literature creation in 1942, mainly writing short-medium novel. During the Anti-Japanese War, he used to be a guerrilla soldier, and editor of newspaper supplement; after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, he used to be the editor-in-chief, Deputy Chairman of The Newspaper of War Industry, and Red Flag Newspaper, Executive Editor of The Frontier of Poetry, The Whistle of Poetry, and The Battlefield of Poetry. In the later period, he roamed in the Northern Manchuli, working as a secretary. Among his works, are medium novels Chaos, Foolish Flow, The People in the Ocean and short stories Rainbow, the poetry collections published are Sparkles, Wild Grass, The Romance in a Dreamland, Romance in the South, Unending Romance. He’s now the editor-in-chief of folk poetry magazine Daoxiang Lake.
