 孙钿，原名郁锺瑞，一九一七年出生於上海小南门。二十世纪三十年代初开始写作，用“村因”、“辛苓”等笔名，在上海申报附刊等发表作品，曾创办“暴风雨剧团”、《天明》文学刊物。一九三四年赴日本求学，并在东京参加中国剧人协会，诗歌座谈会等活动。一九三七年七月七日，日本侵华战争爆发，当即回国投入抗日救亡活动，出版第一本诗集《击退敌人去》，在巴金、茅盾主编《烽火》发表长诗《给敏子》及散文作品，并在抗战前线写出大量作品，发表于《七月》、《抗战文艺》以及大公报、新华日报副刊。

一九三九至一九四一年在香港主编《东江》《东惠》半月刊。一九四二年出版了胡风主编“七月诗丛”《旗》诗集。并于《希望》等杂及报刊发表作品。一九五二年出版诗集《望远镜》。一九五五年被当作“胡风反革命集团”骨干分子，逮捕入狱，自此之后，有二十多年不断坐牢，服劳役。

二十世纪四十年代前后出版小说集《在乡村里》、《高野良雄之死》、《最初的胜利》，并由新知书店出版《初生期》等。《高野良雄之死》曾译载於《国际文学》法文版。

平反后，《白色花》诗集收入他的诗作之外，并在全国报刊发表不少新作，还翻译了《日本当代诗选》，由湖南人民出版社出版。一九九七年出版《孙钿诗文选》。

Sun Dian, originally Yu Zhongrui, was born in Xiao Nanmen, Shanghai, in 1917. He began writing in the early 30’s of the 20th century, using pen names like “Cun Chou”, “Sing Ling”, etc. His works were published in the supplements of newspapers like “Shen Bao”(Shanghai News). He set up “Storm Theatrical Troupe” and a literary magazine “Daybreak”. He went to Japan to study in 1934, and joined Chines Dramatists Association in Tokyo, and attended forums on poetry. On July 7, 1937, the War of Japanese Aggression broke out, he went back to China and plunged into the Resistance and Salvation Movement. He had his first collection of poems published: “Go Fight Back the Enemy”. He contributed his long poems to “Beacon”, edited by Ba Jin and Mao Dun, such as “To Min Zi” and some essays. He wrote a lot of works at the forefront and published them in “July”, “Resistance Literature” and the supplements in Da Kong Daily, and Xinhua Daily.

From 1939 to 1941 he edited “Dong Jiang” and “Dong Hui” bi-weekly in Hong Kong. In 1942 he had his collection published collection “Banner” in the magazine “July Poems” edited by Hu Feng. And he published his works in magazines and newspapers like “Hope”. In 1952 he had his poem collection “Telescope” published. In 1955, he was treated as a core member of Hu Feng Counter-revolutionary Clique and was thrown into prison. Since then he was serving his term and doing forced labor for over twenty years.

In and before the 40’s he published his novel collection: “In the Village”, “The Death of Takano Yoshio”, “Initial Victory” and “New-born Period”. “The Death of Takano Yoshio” was translated into French and published in “International Literature”, French Edition.

After rehabilitation, besides his poem collection “White Flower”, he had many of his works published in the newspapers and magazines in the country, and he translated “Selection of Contemporary Japanese Poems”, published by Hunan People’s Publishing House. In 1997 “Selection of Sun Dian’s Poems & Essays” was published.
