大部分前往Mount San Jacinto State Park的游客,都是坐缆车上上下下，很多人并未注意到，在苍松翠柏和群山环抱之间，还有一个象世外桃源一样幽静美丽的小镇－－Idyllwild。这里画廊林立，餐馆众多，更是camping胜地，夏天可以避暑看流星，冬天能够看雪看月亮。如果在Idyllwild camping一晚，第二天再去Mount San Jacinto 登高远足，可真是一个完美的周末了。
