为了和猫猫们朝夕相处，我特意搬到碧峰峡基地内的小西天住了几天，尽管那里的条件很差。白天我忙着采访猫猫的奶爸奶妈们，还不觉得什么。但是，晚饭后，一个人在碧峰峡的暮色中散步，就成了我最大的享受。这时我会走很远，先去白熊坪，然后一直走到豹子山，再回到白熊坪。直到天色黑了，看不清猫猫了，才回到小西天，对付那些个难过的夜晚。

暮色中的碧峰峡，游客被清园了，大部分的基地工作人员也都下班了，或是回到雅安的宿舍，或是在基地的宿舍休息，只有一小部分在办公室内值班。偌大的碧峰峡基地的山坡上，大路上，树林里，几乎见不到人影。我仿佛来到了野外，见到了那么多的猫猫，在自得自在地不受干扰地干着自己的事情。
宁静，宁静，宁静，在宁静的暮色中，这也是猫猫们最享受的时刻啊!
