Meta-Knowledge
( 5. Micro or Macro )
Unfortunately, there are some pseudo scholars
who
always want to undermine our
TCM
(Traditional Chinese Medicine), and when
it
comes to
our TCM, those pseudo
scholars always
boast
smugly about their knowledge of the
micro
world.
But even worse,
those guys take it for granted
that the thinking of our TCM
is too macro, so
it
is unreliable.
Actually, this
is a kind of egg head .
Objectively
speaking, when dealing with problems
in practice,
knowledge from both the macro and
micro worlds is
important, and there is no need
for mutual
exclusion.
Otherwise, the
problem may not be solved.
Because
relying too much on the
knowledge
of the micro
world may make it difficult to
consider the practical
effects of
problem-solving due
to being too
busy and
focused
on the micro world.
If we review
the process of dealing with the
virus
this time, it
is easy to understand the
relationship
between the
knowledge of the micro world and
that of macro
world.
This time
dealing with the virus was very
successful,
and the process
is also worth pondering.
For example,
when battling against a certain
virus,
we can analyze
biological characteristics of this
kind of viruse from a
microscopic perspective and
develop corresponding
vaccines to combat the
virus
and to cure
patients.
This approach
is indeed very perfect in theory for
it can effectively and
accurately strike this kind
of
virus.
So, this
approach is indeed very perfect in
theory
for it can effectively and
accurately strike a certain
virus
.
But
unfortunately, there are still some issues
in
practical
operation.
For instance,
viruses often mutate, and after the
virus mutates, whether its
toxicity and infectivity
become stronger
or weaker is actually beyond
precise
control.
But whenever a
virus mutates, it often becomes
overwhelmed or
unable to respond effectively in
a timely
manner, because the complexity and
randomness of
the micro world are currently
unpredictable,
let alone effective control and
prevention.
Fortunately, we
have TCM, and our TCM is never
troubled by so
many trivial issues when dealing
with
viruses.
Because the
idea of our TCM is to develop
prescriptions
based on the macro characteristics
of viruses, so
as to improve human immunity,
make the virus
unable to survive or form harm
in the human
body, and then cure the disease,
or reduce the
incidence rate, severity rate, and
mortality rate,
so as to gain more time for
continued
effective treatment .
At that time,
many macro measures were taken ,
such as wearing
masks, frequent ventilation,
maintaining a
distance of 1 meter, strengthening
nutrition, and
moderate exercise , and all of these
macro measures
have played an important role
in cutting off
the transmission route of the virus
and curbing its
hazard .
However, if we
only focus on micro knowledge,
the effect may
be negligible.
2020,The topic was discussed
and a similar
viewpoint was
proposed:
If analyzing
problems only at the micro level and
disregarding
macro effects, it is not necessarily
scientific,
because macro analysis is also
indispensable.
In fact,
fighting against viruses is like fighting
a
war:
If the
position is surrounded by a
large
number of enemy troops, the
best method
is to
sweep the machine gun to
effectively
defend
the position.
At that
time , if a pseudo scholar
proposes
a pseudo theory, saying
that:
To fire
at the enemy, it should use big
bullets
to tall
men and little bullets to
short men.
That will
only lead to failure
!
It has been
proven that this is also true when
the
human body is
attacked by a virus, especially
when the
virus's identity is unknown, our TCM
is
just the best
choice.
It can be
roughly believed that for the analysis
of
clinical
symptoms of diseases, our TCM is
very
effective at
analysing from macroscopic symptom,
while other
medical studies are is very effective
at
analysing from
a microscopic perspective.
It is precisely
this multi-dimensional analysis and
research that
ensures the effectiveness of this
rescue!
At that time
when dealing with the epidemic,
foreign
countries often showed confusion,
and
they didn't
know what to do, which also proved
that both macro
and micro knowledge were
important.
So, analyzing
problems is not necessarily better
at the micro
level, nor is it only possible to
have
a correct
understanding at the micro level.
Comprehensive
analysis from multiple perspectives
is more
reasonable.
Therefore, our
TCM should not be discriminated
against just
because it considers diseases at a
macro
level.
May I reiterate
once again:
When dealing
with problems in practice, knowledge
from both the
macro and micro worlds is important,
and there is no
need to prioritize each other.
If we only
focus on micro knowledge, its
problem-solving
effect may be negligible!
So, we should
apply various knowledge rationally,
without being
burdened with any particular
knowledge.
