智者能够感知即将发生什么
常人只知道当下,而
智者则能感知即将发生的事情。”
常人知道当下发生了什么,
诸神则对未来的事情了然于胸,
因为只有神才是全知全能的。
智者则能感知即将发生什么。
当智者在苦思冥想中,有时
他们会听见隐秘的异响:
他们带着敬畏聆听,
而大街上的人们则是充耳不闻。
But the Wise Perceive Things about to Happen | |
Ordinary people know what’s happening now, the gods know future things because they alone are totally enlightened. Of what’s to come the wise perceive things about to happen. Sometimes during moments of intense study their hearing’s troubled: the hidden sound of things approaching reaches them, and they listen reverently, while in the street outside the people hear nothing whatsoever. |
