近代中国奥林匹克第一人，南开校父张伯苓

       奥运结束了，金牌榜第一的感觉，实在太好了，运动员托起了伟大民族的荣誉，能够在奥林匹克

赛场上，国旗升起的次数最多，国歌奏响的次数最多，对于金牌榜第一，无论有怎样的探讨，我们首先享

受奥林匹克给我们的最真实，最猛烈的喜悦和激动！我们的奖牌总数达到了100枚，奖牌的实力体现了我

们民族卓越的体育素质，先对我们的民族发出最深刻的感激！
       我在天津的南开学校求学多年，南开学校的老校长，就是张伯苓先生，张先生是中国近代史上奥

林匹克第一人，张先生在民国时期，第一个倡导申办奥运会，第一个组织人员去参加奥运会，他治理南开

学校，和旧式学校不一样的地方，除了现代中学大学教育之外，就是格外重视体育课，身处南开园，有全

天津市最好的男子篮球队，还有垒球队，足球队，排球队，学生的体育运动非常多，体育社团也很多。
       今天，奥运会圆满结束，我们有“家祭无忘告乃翁”的文化传统，我应该恭敬地向南开老校长张

伯苓先生告慰：如今，我们不仅举办了一次奥运会，而且奖牌榜达到100枚奖牌，全球第二。我们对待问

题要有一个过程，要给变化一个过程，数十年前，不仅我们不能取得这样的好成绩，就连举办也没有机会

，当张伯苓先生在1945年中国抗战胜利之后，国际地位大大提高，可是我们没有举办成。
       我历来主张体育归属体育，政治归属政治，经济归属经济，从体育赛事看，奥运会毕竟是一次运

动会；从文化角度看，奥林匹克毕竟是一个哲学话题，这个世界上很多现实问题，奥林匹克都解决不了，

我曾经对文化思想的现实功能有个比喻——阳光，有她基本，无她不行，阳光就是理想，是原则，是信仰

，我们没有必要夸大文化的作用，还不必贬低。
       看完闭幕式，罗格的讲演让我很感动，非常振奋。从文化的角度，历次奥运会都是文化的运动会

，从人文理解奥林匹克，这是二战之后，奥林匹克一直追求的目标，京奥是很特殊的，后工业化的文化形

式，与前工业化的文化形式，彼此碰撞，彼此融合，所以，罗格说the world learned more about China, and China learned more about the world.
     在听罗格的演讲中，有的朋友对下面的话的中文翻译，有不同的理解，比如
     These were truly exceptional Games!
     有两种中文翻译：

     1.真正的无与伦比的奥运会；

     2.独具特色的奥运会
      truly exceptional，有不少朋友倾向于这样的中文解释“独具特色的”而不宜用“无与伦比”这

个汉语词汇，“无与伦比”显然有些重了。
       想起了希腊雅典奥运会闭幕式上，罗格的评价是These Games were unforgettable, dream

Games.这样的奥运会是难以忘却的，令人向往的。
       我们用心去做了，去尝试了，做，就是实践；尝试，就是契机，最重要的是我们自己要珍惜这个

契机。我想我们对奥林匹克的观察还没有结束，残奥会马上就要开始了，我想，残奥会对我们的人文启发

会更深刻。大家不要忽视残奥会，继续观察吧。

      最后附上本次和上届奥运会闭幕式上的罗格致辞，供大家参考。

    2008年，北京，罗格闭幕式致辞：
        Dear Chinese Friends,
        Tonight, we come to the end of 16 glorious days which we will cherish forever.
        Thank you to the people of China, all the wonderful volunteers and BOCOG!
        Through these Games, the world learned more about China, and China learned more

about the world.Athletes from 204 National Olympic Committees came to these

dazzling venues and awed us with their talent.New stars were born. Stars from past Games amazed us again. We shared their joys and their tears, and we marvelled at their ability. We will long remember the achievements we witnessed here.
        As we celebrate the success of these Games, let us all together wish the best for

the talented athletes who will soon participate in the Paralympic Games. They also inspire

us.
        To the athletes tonight: You were true role models. You have shown us the unifying

power of sport. The Olympic spirit lives in the warm embrace of competitive rivals from

nations in conflict. Keep that spirit alive when you return home.
        These were truly exceptional Games!
        And now, in accordance with tradition, I declare the Games of the XXIX Olympiad

closed, and I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in London to

celebrate the Games of the XXX Olympiad.
       Thank you!

    2004年，雅典奥运会闭幕式，罗格致辞：
Dear Greek Friends,
      You have won!
      You have won, by brilliantly meeting the tough challenge of holding the Games!
A warm thank-you to Gianna Angelopoulos-Daskalaki, who has led the enthusiastic and

extremely competent ATHOC team with great vision and charisma. Thank you also to the Greek

public authorities, which have transformed Athens and built an extraordinary urban and

sporting heritage. Thank you to everyone who has supported the Games, and above all to the

marvelous volunteers who have charmed us with their competence and kindness.
      These Games were held in peace and brotherhood. These were the Games where it became

increasingly difficult to cheat and where clean athletes were better protected. These were

the Games where you, the athletes, have touched our hearts by your performances, your joys,

and your tears. These Games were unforgettable, dream Games.
      Athletes, you are role models. When you get home, promote the message of the Games;

promote respect for others; and, above all, promote clean sport. Give back to sport what

sport has given to you.
      And now, in accordance with tradition, I declare the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad

closed and I call upon the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Beijing to

celebrate with us there the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.
      Thank you, Athens! Thank you, Greece!

      运动健儿们，你们是大家的楷模。回到祖国后，你们要发扬奥林匹克的精神；发扬尊重他人的品质

；最重要的是要提倡“纯洁的体育”。把体育所给予你们的回馈给体育吧。
      现在，按照传统，我宣布第28届奥林匹克运动会胜利闭幕，同时我号召全世界的年轻人4年后相聚

在北京，一起为第29届奥运会欢呼喝彩。
