名人的“比喻”：中外名人的数学比喻

鲁迅谈正比例 :伟大的成功和辛勤的劳动是成正比例关系的。有一分劳动，就会有一分收获，日积月累，从少到多，奇迹就可以创造出来。

陈景润谈正比例: 成功与天才成正比，但与努力的平方成正比。

爱迪生谈百分比: 我平生的一切发现都是深思熟虑、严格试验的结果，其中天才和灵敏，只不过占百分之十，百分之九十却是艰苦的工作。

托尔斯泰谈分数: 一个人就好像一个分数，他的实际才能好比一个分子；而他对自己的估价好比一个分母，分母愈大，则分数值也就越小。

季米特洛夫(保加利亚的革命领袖)谈正负号: 你必须好好考虑自己的工作，一天做了些什么？是正号还是负号？假如是正号，那很好；假如是负号，就该对自己采取措施了。

爱因斯坦谈代数式 :有一个青年人，请爱因斯坦说出成功的秘诀 . 他就写出了一个公式：A = X+Y+Z，并解释道：“A代表成功，X代表劳动，Y代表适当的工作方法.”青年人以为最大的秘诀在最后一项，就迫不及待地问：“那么，Z代表什么呢?”不料他回答道：“Z代表的是少说废话!”

古今中外有不少的名人喜欢用数学比喻，往往出语幽默、灰谐，好比深山闻钟，记忆久远。古希腊哲学家芝诺号称“悖论之父”，他有四个数学悖论一直传到今天。他曾讲过一句名言：“大圆圈比小圆圈掌握的知识要多一点，但因为大圆圈的圆周比小圆圈的长，所以它与外界空白的接触面也就比小圆圈大，因此更感到知识的不足，需要努力去学习”。

还有一个西洋派，姓名颠倒叫几何。若向八贤常请教，虽是笨人少错误。美国作家杰克·伦敦成名后，曾收到过一位女士的求爱信：“你有一个出众的名声，我有一个高贵的地位。这两者加起来，再乘上万能的黄金，足以使我们建立起一个天堂都不能比拟的美满家庭。”杰克·伦敦连忙回信，他答得很妙：“根据你列出的那道爱情公式，我看还要开平方！不过这个平方根却是负数”。

我国著名的教育家陶行知先生曾经说，他有八位好朋友做帮手使他少犯错误，甚至可以不犯错误。他编了一首歌： 我有八位好朋友，肯把万事指导我。你若想问真姓名，名字不同都姓何。 何事、何故、何人、何如、何时、何来、何去，好像弟弟与哥哥。

 

很久很久以前，谎言和真实在河边洗澡，谎言先洗好，穿了真实的衣服离开，真实却不肯穿谎言的衣服。后来，在人们的眼里，只有穿着真实衣服的谎言，却很难接受赤裸裸的真实。

岁月就像一条深邃的河流，左岸是曾经热烈奔放的红玫瑰，右岸是被绦荡得失却光华的饭黏子，中间飞快流淌的，是心中隐隐的伤感。世间有许多美好的东西，但能够长存，并且真正属于自己的却并不多。

少年读书，如隙中窥月；中年读书，如庭中望月；老年读书，如台上玩月。皆以阅历之深浅，为所得之深浅耳。
