《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.31:
Kaha kpe kut pips nivtti||31||
對喉嚨(kaha)凹陷處(kpe)做三雅瑪練習,克服(nivtti)飢(kut)渴(pips)。
(Through Sayama) on the cavity (kpe) of the throat (kaha), (there is) cessation (nivtti) of hunger (kut) (and) thirst (pips)||31||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.32:
Krmany sthairyam||32||
對龜脈(krma)神經(ny)做三雅瑪練習,獲得安穩(sthairyam)。
(Through Sayama) on the bronchial tube (krmanym), calmness and firmness (sthairyam) (are achieved)||32||

Mrdha jyotii siddha daranam||33||
對頂輪(mrdha)的光亮(jyotii)做三雅瑪練習,獲得超人(siddha)的視力(daranam)。
(Through Sayama) on the coronal (mrdha) light (jyotii), (there is) perception or vision (daranam) of the Siddha-s --i.e. not the Perfected Beings but a kind of demigods-- (siddha)||33||

Prtibhd v sarvam||34||
或者(v)通過自然的啓發(prtibhd)獲得所有的一切(sarvam)的能力。
Or (v) through Prtibha --i.e. knowledge which comes to a Yog before the attainment of discriminative knowledge-- (prtibht), everything (sarvam) (becomes known)||34||

Hdaye citta savit||35||
通過對內心(hdaye)做三雅瑪練習,獲得心意(citta)的知識(savit)。
(Through Sayama) on the heart (hdaye), knowledge (savid) of mind (citta) (is attained)||35||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.36:
Sattva puruayor atyantsakrayo pratyayvieo bhoga parrthatvt svrthasayamt purua jñnam||36||
悅性(Sattva)和神我(puruayor) 絕對(atyanta)不同(sakrayo), 概念(pratyaya)無法區分(aviea)形成了所有的經驗(bhoga)。悅性為神我存在(parrthatvt),神我為自身存在(svrtha)。通過叁雅瑪(sayamt) 練習,獲得神我(purua)的知識(jñnam)。
Experience of pleasure or pain (bhoga) (based on) a conception (pratyaya) which does not distinguish (aviea) (between such) completely (atyanta) different (asakrayo) (entities as) Buddhisattva --i.e. Buddhi or intellect having abandoned all traces of Rajas and Tamas, that is, Buddhisattva is simply a sattvic Buddhi-- (sattva) (and) Purua --i.e. the real Self or Knower-- (puruayo), exists for another --i.e. for Purua-- (parrthatvt). Through Sayama (sayamt) on (this) Purua --i.e. one's own Self-- (svrtha), knowledge (jñnam) of Purua (purua) (is thus obtained)||35||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.37:
Tata prtibha rvaa vedandarsvda vrt jyante||37||
從此(tata)通過靈性感知(prtibha)產生(jyante)超常的聽覺(rvaa) 、觸覺(vedana)、視覺(dara)、味覺(svda)和嗅覺(vrt)。
From that (Sayama on Purua) (tatas), Prtibha --a kind of intuitive knowledge-- (prtibha), rvaa --i.e. supernatural power of hearing--(rvaa), Vedana --i.e. supernormal power of touch-- (vedana), the dara-s --i.e. the supernatural powers of seeing-- (dara), svda --i.e. supernormal power of tasting-- (svda) (and) Vrt --i.e. supernatural power of smelling-- (vrt) arise (jyante)||36||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.38:
Te samdhv upasarg vyutthne siddhaya||38||
它們(te)這些神通對三摩地(samdhv)是障礙(upasarg),但對世俗追求上(vyutthane)却是力量(siddhaya)。
Those (supernormal powers) (te) are obstacles or hindrances (upasarg) in Samdhi (samdhau), (but) accomplishments (siddhaya) in Vyutthna --i.e. the ordinary state of consciousness in which the mind fluctuates-- (vyutthne)||37||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.39:
Bandha kraa aithilyt pracra savedanc ca cittasya paraarrvea||39||
由於束縛(bandha)原因(kraa)的解開(aithilyt)和(ca)藉由對心靈的(chittasya)運作步驟(prachra)的完整理解(savedanc),瑜伽士可以進入(avea)其他的(para)身體(arra)。
Bandhakraaaithilytpracra
Through the weakening (aithilyt) of the cause (kraa) of bondage (bandha) and (ca) complete knowledge/understanding (savedant) of the roaming (pracra) of mind (cittasya), (mental) penetration (vea) into the body (arra) of another (para) (is possible then)||38||
《瑜伽經》(于伽梵文譯本)3.40:
Udna jayj jala paka kaakdiv asaga utkrnti ca||40||
藉著對上行氣(udna)的控制(jayt),瑜伽士在水(jala)、沼澤(paka)、荊棘(kaaka)等等(div)之上保持無接觸(asaga),以及(ca)漂浮在空中(utkrnti)。
By conquering (jayt) Udna --i.e. one of the five main vital energies-- (udna), (there is) movement without obstacle (asaga) in water (jala), mud (paka), thorns (kaaka), etc. (diu) and (ca) exit from the body (at will) at the time of death (utkrnti)||39||
