《博伽梵歌》(于伽梵文譯本)5.1:

अर्जुन उवाच |

संन्यासं कर्मणां कृष्ण पुनर्योगं च शंससि |

यच्छ्रेय एतयोरेकं तन्मे ब्रूहि सुनिश्चितम् || 1||

arjuna uvācha

sannyāsaṁ karmaṇāṁ kṛiṣhṇa punar yogaṁ cha śhansasi

yach chhreya etayor ekaṁ tan me brūhi su-niśhchitam

阿周那(arjuna)说(uvācha):

你赞美(śhansasi)弃绝(sannyāsaṁ)行动,(karmaṇāṁ)奎师那(kṛiṣhṇa),又(cha)再次(punaḥ)赞美瑜伽(yogaṁ),请明确(su-niśhchitam)告诉(brūhi)我(me),这两者之间(etayoḥ)那(tat)一个(ekaṁ),哪个(yat)更好(śhreyaḥ)?

arjunaḥ uvācha—Arjun said; sanyāsam—renunciation; karmaṇām—of actions; kṛiṣhṇa—Shree Krishna; punaḥ—again; yogam—about karm yog; cha—also; śhansasi—you praise; yat—which; śhreyaḥ—more beneficial; etayoḥ—of the two; ekam—one; tat—that; me—unto me; brūhi—please tell; su-niśhchitam—conclusively

श्रीभगवानुवाच |

संन्यास: कर्मयोगश्च नि:श्रेयसकरावुभौ |

तयोस्तु कर्मसंन्यासात्कर्मयोगो विशिष्यते || 2||

śhrī bhagavān uvācha

sannyāsaḥ karma-yogaśh cha niḥśhreyasa-karāvubhau

tayos tu karma-sannyāsāt karma-yogo viśhiṣhyate

圣(śhrī)博伽梵(bhagavān)说(uvācha):

弃绝(sannyāsaḥ)行动和(cha)行动瑜伽(karma-yogaśh),两者(ubhau)都领向至福(niḥśhreyasa-karāu),但(tu)两者之中(tayoḥ)行动瑜伽(karma-yogaḥ)比弃绝行动(karma-sannyāsāt)更好 (viśhiṣhyate)。

śhrī-bhagavān uvācha—the Supreme Lord said; sanyāsaḥ—renunciation; karma-yogaḥ—working in devotion; cha—and; niḥśhreyasa-karau—lead to the supreme goal; ubhau—both; tayoḥ—of the two; tu—but; karma-sanyāsāt—renunciation of actions; karma-yogaḥ—working in devotion; viśhiṣhyate—is superior

ज्ञेय: स नित्यसंन्यासी यो न द्वेष्टि न काङ् क्षति |

निर्द्वन्द्वो हि महाबाहो सुखं बन्धात्प्रमुच्यते || 3||

jñeyaḥ sa nitya-sannyāsī yo na dveṣhṭi na kāṅkṣhati

nirdvandvo hi mahā-bāho sukhaṁ bandhāt pramuchyate

谁(yaḥ)无(na)怨恨(dveṣhṭi)无(na)渴望(kāṅkṣhati),那个人(saḥ)被认为(jñeyaḥ)永远的(nitya)弃绝者(sannyāsī)。大臂的人(mahā-bāho)啊,因为肯定(hi)从二元性解脱(nirdvandvaḥ),就容易(sukhaṁ)从束缚(bandhāt)中解脱(pramuchyate)。

jñeyaḥ—should be considered; saḥ—that person; nitya—always; sanyāsī—practising renunciation; yaḥ—who; na—never; dveṣhṭi—hate; na—nor; kāṅkṣhati—desire; nirdvandvaḥ—free from all dualities; hi—certainly; mahā-bāho—mighty-armed one; sukham—easily; bandhāt—from bondage; pramuchyate—is liberated

साङ्ख्ययोगौ पृथग्बाला: प्रवदन्ति न पण्डिता: |

एकमप्यास्थित: सम्यगुभयोर्विन्दते फलम् || 4||

sānkhya-yogau pṛithag bālāḥ pravadanti na paṇḍitāḥ

ekamapyāsthitaḥ samyag ubhayor vindate phalam

无知者(bālāḥ)说(pravadanti)数论(sānkhya)和瑜伽(yogau)的不同(pṛithag),智者(paṇḍitāḥ)不(na)划分。甚至(api)正确地(samyag)依据(āsthitaḥ)其中一个(ekam),就能获得(vindate)两者(ubhayoḥ)的成果(phalam)。

sānkhya—renunciation of actions; yogau—karm yog; pṛithak—different; bālāḥ—the ignorant; pravadanti—say; na—never; paṇḍitāḥ—the learned; ekam—in one; api—even; āsthitaḥ—being situated; samyak—completely; ubhayoḥ—of both; vindate—achieve; phalam—the result

यत्साङ्ख्यै: प्राप्यते स्थानं तद्योगैरपि गम्यते |

एकं साङ्ख्यं च योगं च य: पश्यति स पश्यति || 5||

yat sānkhyaiḥ prāpyate sthānaṁ tad yogair api gamyate

ekaṁ sānkhyaṁ cha yogaṁ cha yaḥ paśhyati sa paśhyati

数论(sānkhyaiḥ)能达到(prāpyate)什么(yat)样的地方(sthānaṁ),那(tad)瑜伽(yogaiḥ)也(api)能达到(gamyate),谁(yaḥ)看到(paśhyati)数论(sānkhyaṁ)和(cha)瑜伽(yogaṁ)的同一(ekaṁ),那么(cha)那个人(saḥ)有眼力(paśhyati)。

yat—what; sānkhyaiḥ—by means of karm sanyās; prāpyate—is attained; sthānam—place; tat—that; yogaiḥ—by working in devotion; api—also; gamyate—is attained; ekam—one; sānkhyam—renunciation of actions; cha—and; yogam—karm yog; cha—and; yaḥ—who; paśhyati—sees; saḥ—that person; paśhyati—actually sees

संन्यासस्तु महाबाहो दु:खमाप्तुमयोगत: |

योगयुक्तो मुनिर्ब्रह्म नचिरेणाधिगच्छति || 6||

sannyāsas tu mahā-bāho duḥkham āptum ayogataḥ

yoga-yukto munir brahma na chireṇādhigachchhati

但(tu)没有瑜伽(ayogataḥ),弃绝(sannyāsaḥ)受(āptum)苦(duḥkham),大臂者(mahā-bāho),只要实行瑜伽(yoga-yuktḥ),智者(muniḥ)没有(na)延误(chireṇa)达到(adhigachchhati)梵(brahma)。

sanyāsaḥ—renunciation; tu—but; mahā-bāho—mighty-armed one; duḥkham—distress; āptum—attains; ayogataḥ—without karm yog; yoga-yuktaḥ—one who is adept in karm yog; muniḥ—a sage; brahma—Brahman; na chireṇa—quickly; adhigachchhati—goes

योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रिय: |

सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते || 7||

yoga-yukto viśhuddhātmā vijitātmā jitendriyaḥ

sarva-bhūtātma-bhūtātmā kurvann api na lipyate

实行瑜伽(yoga-yuktaḥ)净化(viśhuddha)灵魂(ātmā),控制(vijita)灵魂(ātmā),征服感官 (jita-indriyaḥ),对众生(sarva-bhūta)怜悯(ātma-bhūtātmā),即使(api)行动(kurvann)也不(na)被牵绊(lipyate)。

yoga-yuktaḥ—united in consciousness with God; viśhuddha-ātmā—one with purified intellect; vijita-ātmā—one who has conquered the mind; jita-indriyaḥ—having conquered the senses; sarva-bhūta-ātma-bhūta-ātmā—one who sees the Soul of all souls in every living being; kurvan—performing; api—although; na—never; lipyate—entangled

नैव किञ्चित्करोमीति युक्तो मन्येत तत्ववित् |

पश्यञ्शृण्वन्स्पृशञ्जिघ्रन्नश्नन्गच्छन्स्वपञ्श्वसन् || 8||

naiva kiñchit karomīti yukto manyeta tattva-vit

paśhyañ śhṛiṇvan spṛiśhañjighrann aśhnangachchhan svapañśhvasan

瑜伽行者(yuktaḥ)洞悉真谛(tattva-vit),认为(manyeta)自己肯定(eva)没有(na)做(karomI)如此(iti)任何事(kiñchit),看(paśhyañ)、听(śhṛiṇvan)、触(spṛiśhañ)嗅(jighrann)和食(aśhnan),行走(gachchhan)、睡觉(svapañ)和呼吸(śhvasan)。

na—not; eva—certainly; kiñchit—anything; karomi—I do; iti—thus; yuktaḥ—steadfast in karm yog; manyeta—thinks; tattva-vit—one who knows the truth; paśhyan—seeing; śhṛiṇvan—hearing; spṛiśhan—touching; jighran—smelling; aśhnan—eating; gachchhan—moving; svapan—sleeping; śhvasan—breathing;

प्रलपन्विसृजन्गृह्ण्न्नुन्मिषन्निमिषन्नपि |

इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थेषु वर्तन्त इति धारयन् || 9||

pralapan visṛijan gṛihṇann unmiṣhan

nimiṣhann api

indriyāṇīndriyārtheṣhu vartanta iti dhārayan

即使(api)谈话(pralapan)、排泄(visṛijan)和收受(gṛihṇann),睁眼(unmiṣhan)和闭眼(nimiṣhann),感官(indriyāṇi)活动(vartante)在感官(indriya)对象中(artheṣhu),这样(iti)是确信的 (dhārayan)。

pralapan—talking; visṛijan—giving up; gṛihṇan—accepting; unmiṣhan—opening (the eyes); nimiṣhan—closing (the eyes); api—although; indriyāṇi—the senses; indriya-artheṣhu—in sense-objects; vartante—moving; iti—thus; dhārayan—convinced

ब्रह्मण्याधाय कर्माणि सङ्गं त्यक्त्वा करोति य: |

लिप्यते न स पापेन पद्मपत्रमिवाम्भसा || 10||

brahmaṇyādhāya karmāṇi saṅgaṁ tyaktvā karoti yaḥ

lipyate na sa pāpena padma-patram ivāmbhasā

谁(yaḥ)将所有的行动(karmāṇi)献身(ādhāya)梵(brahmaṇi),放弃(tyaktvā)执着(saṅgaṁ),履行(karoti)责任,他(saḥ)就不(na)受罪业 (pāpena)影响(lipyate),犹如(iva)莲(padma)叶(patram)不沾水(ambhasā)。
