《博伽梵歌》(于伽梵文譯本)4.1:
श्रीभगवानुवाच |
इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम् |
विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत् || 1||
śhrī bhagavān uvācha
imaṁ vivasvate yogaṁ proktavān aham avyayam
vivasvān manave prāha manur ikṣhvākave ’bravīt
吉祥(śhrī)薄伽梵(bhagavān)说(uvācha):
这个(imaṁ)永恒的(avyayam)瑜伽科学(yogaṁ)我(aham)传授给(proktavān)太阳神(vivasvate),太阳神(vivasvān)传授给(prāha)摩奴(manave),摩奴(manur)又传授给(abravīt)伊士瓦库(ikṣhvākave)。

एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदु: |
स कालेनेह महता योगो नष्ट: परन्तप || 2||
evaṁ paramparā-prāptam imaṁ rājarṣhayo viduḥ
sa kāleneha mahatā yogo naṣhṭaḥ parantapa
就这样(evaṁ)在一个连续的传统中 (paramparā)被接受(prāptam),这个(imaṁ)科学被圣王们(rāja-ṛiṣhayaḥ)了解(viduḥ),那个(saḥ)知识随着时间的流逝 (kālena),在这个世界上(iha)伟大的(mahatā)瑜伽科学(yogaḥ)失传(naṣhṭaḥ),杀敌者阿诸纳啊(parantapa)。

स एवायं मया तेऽद्य योग: प्रोक्त: पुरातन: |
भक्तोऽसि मे सखा चेति रहस्यं ह्येतदुत्तमम् || 3||
sa evāyaṁ mayā te ’dya yogaḥ proktaḥ purātanaḥ
bhakto ’si me sakhā cheti rahasyaṁ hyetad uttamam
今天(adya)确定(eva)由我(mayā)向你(te)揭示(proktaḥ)这(ayaṁ)同一门(saḥ)古代的(purātanaḥ)瑜伽的科学(yogaḥ),你是(asi)奉献者 (bhaktaḥ),还是(cha)我的(me)朋友(sakhā),所以(iti)一定(hi)要了解这个(etat)最高的(uttamam)秘密(rahasyaṁ)。

अपरं भवतो जन्म परं जन्म विवस्वत: |
कथमेतद्विजानीयां त्वमादौ प्रोक्तवानिति || 4||
arjuna uvācha
aparaṁ bhavato janma paraṁ janma vivasvataḥ
katham etad vijānīyāṁ tvam ādau proktavān iti
阿周那(arjuna)说(uvācha):你的(bhavato)出生(janma)在后(aparaṁ),太阳神维瓦斯万(vivasvataḥ)出生(janma)在前(paraṁ),这(etad)让我怎能(katham)明白(vijānīyāṁ),最初(ādau)是你(tvam)教授(proktavān)这(iti)瑜伽?
arjunaḥ uvācha—Arjun said; aparam—later; bhavataḥ—your; janma—birth; param—prior; janma—birth; vivasvataḥ—Vivasvan, the sun-god; katham—how; etat—this; vijānīyām—am I to understand; tvam—you; ādau—in the beginning; proktavān—taught; iti—thus

बहूनि मे व्यतीतानि जन्मानि तव चार्जुन |
तान्यहं वेद सर्वाणि न त्वं वेत्थ परन्तप || 5||
śhrī bhagavān uvācha
bahūni me vyatītāni janmāni tava chārjuna
tānyahaṁ veda sarvāṇi na tvaṁ vettha parantapa
吉祥(śhrī)薄伽梵(bhagavān)说(uvācha):
你(tava)和(cha)我(me)都已经历(vyatītāni)很多(bahūni)出生(janmāni),阿周那(arjuna),我(ahaṁ)知道(veda)它们(tāni)所有(sarvāṇi)一切,而你(tvaṁ)不(na)知道(vettha),克敌者(parantapa)啊。

अजोऽपि सन्नव्ययात्मा भूतानामीश्वरोऽपि सन् |
प्रकृतिं स्वामधिष्ठाय सम्भवाम्यात्ममायया || 6||
ajaḥ api sannavyayātmā bhūtānām īśhvaro ’pi san
prakṛitiṁ svām adhiṣhṭhāya sambhavāmyātma-māyayā
尽管(api)我不生(ajaḥ),是如此(san)不朽(avyaya),尽管(api)我本性(ātmā)是所有生命(bhūtānām)的至尊神(īśhvaraḥ),我自己(svām)是(san)位于(adhiṣhṭhāya)超然(prakṛitiṁ),凭借(ātma)幻力(māyayā)我显现(sambhavāmi)。

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत |
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् || 7||
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata
abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛijāmyaham
无论何时(yadā yadā)正法(dharmasya)确实(hi)出现(bhavati)衰败(glānir),阿周那(bhārata)啊,非正法(adharmasya)滋生(abhyutthānam),在那时(tadā)我(aham)示现(sṛijāmi)自己(ātmānaṁ)。

paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśhāya cha duṣhkṛitām
dharma-sansthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge
为了保护(paritrāṇāya)善良(sādhūnāṁ),和(cha)湮灭(vināśhāya)邪恶(duṣhkṛitām),为了正法(dharma)重建(sansthāpana-arthāya),我出现(sambhavāmi)在各个时代(yuge yuge)。
paritrāṇāya—to protect; sādhūnām—the righteous; vināśhāya—to annihilate; cha—and; duṣhkṛitām—the wicked; dharma—the eternal religion; sansthāpana-arthāya—to reestablish; sambhavāmi—I appear; yuge yuge—age after age

जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वत: |
त्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुन || 9||
janma karma cha me divyam evaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma naiti mām eti so ’rjuna
谁(yaḥ)真正(evaṁ)理解(vetti)我的(me)神圣(divyam)诞生(janma)和(cha)活动(karma),事实上(tattvataḥ),他(saḥ)抛弃(tyaktvā)身体(dehaṁ)就不(na)再(punaḥ)得到(eti)出生(janma),他(saḥ)归依(eti)我(mām),阿周那(arjuna)。
janma—birth; karma—activities; cha—and; me—of mine; divyam—divine; evam—thus; yaḥ—who; vetti—know; tattvataḥ—in truth; tyaktvā—having abandoned; deham—the body; punaḥ—again; janma—birth; na—never; eti—takes; mām—to me; eti—comes; saḥ—he; arjuna—Arjun

वीतरागभयक्रोधा मन्मया मामुपाश्रिता: |
बहवो ज्ञानतपसा पूता मद्भावमागता: || 10||
vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā man-mayā mām upāśhritāḥ
bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtā mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ
远离(vīta)执着(rāga)、恐惧(bhaya)和愤怒(krodhāḥ),完全沉浸于我 (man-mayā),庇护(upāśhritāḥ)于我(mām),很多人(bahaaḥ)通过知识(jñāna)苦行(tapasā)纯净(pūtāḥ),达到(āgatāḥ)我的存在(mat-bhāvam)。
