【Genesis 9:5 李杜圣经札记】

5 流你们血，害你们命的，无论是兽，是人，我必讨他的罪，就是向各人的弟兄也是如此。 

ERV：

5 Also, I will demand your blood for your lives. That is, I will demand the life of any person or animal that takes a human life.

NIV:

5 And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.

评述：

这一句，是上一句9：4的递进。上帝禁止吃动物的血，现在更近一层，人类的血至为神圣。流他人血的，必当归罪。

ERV版的译文“I will demand your blood for your lives”，语意不清晰。需要一番解释。因为人的血是生命（或灵魂）之所在，流了他人血的，上帝必要讨他的罪。

后半句，中文译本里用了“兄弟”，两个英文译本只用了any person，或another person。圣经里，人人皆兄弟。“就是向各人的弟兄也是如此”，这半句中文经文，嫌重复，当可删去。

文理本的本句译文，便没有提及“兄弟”，译得干脆利落。

“有流尔血、害尔命者，或兽或人，我必讨之。凡害人命者，我必讨之。”
