【Genesis 8:18,19 李杜圣经札记】

18 于是挪亚和他的妻子，儿子，儿妇，都出来了。 

19 一切走兽，昆虫，飞鸟，和地上所有的动物，各从其类，也都出了方舟。 

ERV:

18 So Noah went out with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives. 

19 All the animals, everything that crawls, and every bird left the boat. All the animals came out of the boat in family groups.

NIV:

18 So Noah came out, together with his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives. 

19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another. 

点评：

我注意到，ERV版本的第19句，用了“family”这个词。同时，也有多个英文版本使用“......went out by families” ，应该出自不同的希伯来原本。

英文里，start a family, 不只是我们汉语的“成家”之意，而是开始生养孩子了。没有孩子，便不算family。若让英国人造汉字，“家”的宝盖头下面，不是“豕”——猪，而是“子”了。

于是在第19句里，方舟里的动物鱼贯而出之时，已不仅是每类两只，有些也许已儿女满堂了。

中文和合译本和英文的NIV版本，只体现“各从其类”，失了这一派“人”丁兴旺，欢天喜地的气象。
